pulling a guy out of ahl , with only 14 pro games....i don't think is wise
You're opinions and posts (all 300+ of them) since you joined a month ago have made it evident that you should read more and make less declarative statements. Your opinion on Gomez, Eller, Martin and Weber go against the grain of most fans and pundits and once again you're being contrarian in this thread.
Would you be opposed to Ladeskog and Nugy-Hopkins being called up without any pro-games under their belt? Louis Leblanc is 21, he's up for a short stint since he didn't get any pro-action due to his rehab. That's it, it's nothing big and nothing to get your panties in a bunch over.
its only until Pacioretty comes back, not like hes going to be up here long.
the way injury bug is going , Habs might have him on top line come playoffs...
I say he shouldn't be called up, Hamilton stinks, and this is going to raise his expectations ....which at this point of his career he should be trying to develop his game, not his eye on Montreal ..
If the Habs plans are to keep calling him up this year, mark my words this will back fire long term ....Just like you are watching other young Habs drat picks play elsewhere...

What does this mean to be exact?
Does this mean because Ladeskog can do it all players with no ahl or very little experience can do it?
Let's shut down the AHL /because Ladeskog can do it .
Come on , this is MONTREAL wake up , look back understand the pressure , the media trying to build the superstar(local french kid),that alot of time calf under the weight .....
14 games on a bad Hamilton team....he shouldn't be in Montreal right now ..

Sorry.
Thing is hes not in montreal. Hes going to play the 3 games in California with very little media. If you want to give Leblanc a short stint now is the perfect time. Who Else on the Farm would you call up? Leblanc deserved it.

I must have missed the media not following the team will out west?
All newspaper will be shut down or banned from writing Leblanc love stories , and RDS will be offline .
How does a guy with 10 points in the AHL deserve it?
WHO do we call up? that should show us ALL how screwed Montreal is for depth !!!!
Montreal(Gauthier) got a bone show going on down in Hamilton.....that is what happens when you keeping giving away or selling the farm animals ....
Montreal's AHL depth will be no existent for 4 to 5 years....and there going to call up kids with 14 games now ...Imagine next year...and the next...Tinordi with Markov ..
He's great cuz he's smart. Never too early to bring a player like that up if only to give him a taste of how much better his vision will have to be. Kids going to be part of our future, I don't think anyone is expecting him to even get a point (although if JM actually plays him I think he'll get at least 2 if he plays in the "top 3" lines). It's just a good move to give him experience while we get through this absurd suspension without having Weber play fwd. Wonder what will happen if Markov comes back. I can see Weber being bumped to the Mark Streit position IF LL Cool J doesn't have an easy time. Anyway, he'll play at least one game. This I'm excited for (and the return of Markov).
Thats a great news!! Leblanc will probably have the opportunity to play with good players unlike what he has used to in Hamilton.. Its no secret, Hamilton have a mediocre line-up this year so I wasnt expecting much from Leblanc regarding stats this season.. But now the story is different, Leblanc will have the opportunity to play with NHL talents and Im convinced the kid will be pumped and will impress everyone, he is just that kind of guy, who can step up and do everything to stay in the line-up.. Im not saying he will stay after Max is back, Im just saying he will do everything to make that decision to send him back harder.
