If Jvr is being traded we better be getting a defenseman around the same age as he is, with an equally large ceiling... I'm pretty sure the teams that have defenseman that fit that build wouldn't be willing to trade them.

You could also make a smaller deal elsewhere to get a different backup. The Islanders have like 12 goalies who could be serviceable backups and there are other guys out there. No one that is really as good as Bob in a backup role, but there are people out there that could likely be had.
