Wonder if these "two" Latvians will go at it again tonight?

BTW, I was at this game and Kulda was the one who was worse for wear after the game, even though Daugy felt he lost. And yes, it was completely pre-arranged.

Seen that fight tons of times, would love to see a round 2.

What's the connection between them, friends from home, less than friendly?

The best thing about that video is how KDaug goes out of his way to fight him, it's not like they are line up against each other at the faceoff circles, one is at the face off and the other is on the blue line lol.

No, they were and are on completely friendly terms. They had played together on Latvian junior teams many times, and both had played in the Russian junior league prior to moving to the OHL. They were simply 17/18 year olds who called each other the day before and thought it would be funny to go at it. After the game they were shooting the $hit like usual, although Kulda's nose was a noticeably swollen and bloodied. I wouldn't expect them to do something as pointless in an NHL game though when neither has a completely permanent spot lined up. I'm not even 100% sure Kulda will be playing, since he sat one out a couple of games ago.

Time to build on that win against the HurriKanes. Let's just hope the refs are a bit more Fehr tonight.

As you all know, we beat the Jets last time around. We smashed their faces in the Glass. We brought a Flood of goals. We even brought a Little finesse in the game. They Kulda walked away with the win, but there was almost the sense that they didn't want it.

Now, to be Fehr (yes, I'm using him twice. Deal with it.), the Jets aren't exactly a powerhouse. But would you count them out from the getgo? Wellwood you? Me neither. So let's focus on the game at hand. A lot of their offense runs through center so if we can study Antropov-logy, start with a blank Slater and just score the way we know we can, we'll be okay. And we just Mason. Do you think so? Oduya? Me, too. Let's rock this.

I am expecting a big game from Condre tonight. He usually plays his best in late games.

Discuss.

He puts up the most points on Fridays.
On the road he only has points against the Atlantic division.
He is a +1 in games on the road vs the NW (late games)
He only has 1 point against teams with < .500 record.

Love the split stats for players on the NHL website.

Agreed.

I can't wait till we start making the playoffs, Erin will be HUGE in overtime games. The longer the game, the better he plays.

Discuss.

Pierre McGuire: Tobias Enstrom won't be in the same caliber of Erik Karlsson.

True Pierre, I agree.
