Negative, a one two punch of Green and Orlov could be deadly in the future.

In the few games Green plays before getting hurt again?

Better then nothing I guess.

You can't deny he's important to this team.

Methinks Perrault and Schultz aren't going to last long in DC under the new regime.

Time for some McPhee magic. I think he can turn Schultz into a first. Perreault, maybe a third.

japers rink is already in meltdown mode with the scratching today....

if the sarge gets sent packing they just might close up shop and take their pucks home.

I don't think Schultz would go anywhere until the offseason. GMGM likes to horde his d-men.

Will seem pretty surreal seeing Hunter/not BB behind the bench tonight. Makes for some serious anticipation to see what happens with this game tonight.

As he probably should. One of the big problems for the team this year is lack of defensive depth. Getting rid of #55 only exacerbates the problem, unless he is replaced in the immediate term.

Not that I care about Schultz in particular, I just want to see some decent backup options for if/when people go down, especially since Green is #1 on this team and 38 year old Hammer is somewhere in the top 6.

While these moves/scratches may last for more than 1 game and Hunter has been watching games, it was clear yesterday that Evason and Woods ran most of the practice. I assume it was similar today since the lines are similar. Do people expect Hunter to make major line-up changes before he coaches his first game?

I'm VERY interested to see if any of GMGM's "tactics" wrt roster changes with Hunter.

What I mean is the GMGM "givens":
-hoard Dman
-young-ins in Hershey unless the REALLY push out a vet

Could Green come back and Orlov stay entire time? Would GMGM ship out Sarge to do it?
I think we can rely on old standards only so much. And not be overly surprised by the new.

Nope, not at all. Its going to take a few weeks until we see Dale's stamp on this team. I don't forsee major changes in the way they play the game tonight or even tomorrow night. All I can hope for is that Dale simplifies things to our players so they don't look as confused on ice as they have the past few weeks.

Never really understood why Orlov was sent to Hershey in the first place, seeing has how he has two years with 40 plus games in the KHL. I know I know, better to over season in the AHL then throw into the fire but I think Orlov has shown he belongs or at least that he's better then Sarge and Hammer.

Orlov reminds me of Kasparaitis, but possibly with more offensive upside.

I like seeing Orlov on the PP. He doesn't panic with the puck plus his punishing clapper is a great asset.

It sucks I am going to miss this game tonight. I won't even be home untill 11 00. Ugh

He very clearly had little understanding of North American defensive schemes. They didn't want to push too much pressure on him at once. They've still been doing what they can to insulate him, too.

I'm just glad they moved him over to RD. It was a subtle change. But an increase in "responsibility".

If they're not up for this game...then, uh....we're gonna need a bigger boat.
