slightly confused as to why Greening is playing on his off wing on the top line and michalek is playing on his off wing on the 2nd. Wouldn't it make sense to swap them and have everyone playing in their comfortable, natural spots?

i guess one reason is to try to balance out the skill?

Now, to be Fehr (yes, I'm using him twice. Deal with it.), the Jets aren't exactly a powerhouse. But would you count them out from the getgo? Wellwood you? Me neither. So let's focus on the game at hand. A lot of their offense runs through center so if we can study Antropov-logy, start with a blank Slater and just score the way we know we can, we'll be okay. And we just Mason. Do you think so? Oduya? Me, too. Let's rock this.

Ok my turn.

Let's A.C Slater these Little Ladds and Stapleton them to the Glass. Then we can say "do ya want more? Oduya?"

Discuss.

Greening is a perfect match for Spezza and they want to give Filatov the opportunity to succeed. Playing on his natural wing only increases that.

Pretty funny reading the jets GDT. A few posters think they are a much better team. Saying that we will be coming back down to earth. and if the jets wanna make the playoffs they must beat us.

I understand how some may underrate our line up. Not Alot of names that stand out. They don't have too many big names either. So I find it kind of ironic.

No mention of the jets preparing for the game by going to the gym and getting byfuglien ?

Michalek was lighting up the league as a LW two seasons ago when he first got here. This is such a non-issue, I can't believe how often people get all torn up about it.

People have been underestimating this line-up since last year. No worries. Even our own fans do it. Maybe next year they'll be more respectful.

Haha - yeah. It's funny how often they forget they're the Atlanta Thrashers.

I like how Foligno is now being used at centre.

I really think he can thrive there. He has average vision, but he wins battles, down low, by the boards, and creates space for players in doing so. His game will compliment Alfie and MM9

MacLean threw Rundblad a bone a couple times last game giving Rundblad more time on pp. I hope he continues to do that.

A lot of people have been saying that about the Jets as well. So many game threads in other teams' GDTs that just say "easy win" etc, etc
