Speaking of the Bruins (what are the chances?), I keep thinking of that recurring word from the Orson Welles film, The Magnificent Ambersons: "Comeuppance", meaning to finally get yours. Karma. What goes around comes around. All of which to say, when are they going to be hit with the normal rash of injuries that seems to plague every roster, except theirs? Nothing terrible or career-threatening, of course, but just the average upper and lower-body things that every team suffers through. They're way overdue, and when their good luck runs out and some of their top players inevitably go down, how will they respond? I want my comeuppance.

I did and they told me that they were missing Peverly, McQuaid, and Ference !
That it was the same situation as us, just before being removed from their forum for absolutely no reason.

Just wait till after the trip. All three Cali teams have dirty players who the NHL would be afraid to suspend in Richards, Perry and I guess no one on the Sharks. Thornton would get suspended because of calling out the Bruins in the past.

So Peverly is a defenceman now? Got to love Bruins fans sometimes.

McQuaid is their no6.

We are missing our no1, no4, no5 (equals to Chara, Ference, Corvo)

Depth Chart now:

Subban
Gorges
Gill
Weber
Emelin
Diaz

Depth Chart when healthy:

Markov
Subban
Gorges
Campoli
Spacek
Gill
Emelin

Yea it's the same as losing their no4 and no6.

Personally i would dress him as a 7th d-men and let him be used on the pp.
Dressing a guy who hasn't played in a year and just playing him on the PP is not a very good situation. If anything he will be better playing a simple 5 on 5 game than being asked to fix the PP.

Keep talk from other boards out of ours, guys.

That being said, if you feel you've been unfairly treated, send me (or another mod/admin) a PM and we'll see what we can do.

I'd definitely get Markov back in there sometime this week.

Start him on the third pair with Emelin and give him 2nd PP minutes with Subban to ease him in if needed. We need him out there, and his knee seems to be up to the task.

I agree. I'm hoping they don't wait until he looks for sure 100%, then decide to make him play 22-24 minutes right away. How about 10-15 minutes the first game or two, like basically lots of pp time and 3rd pairing minutes. I tweeted this earlier: If you practice Markov on the PP, he better be playing Wednesday. If not, Weber needs the practice: he sucked on Saturday.

Bottom line is this: Our effort was actually darn good on Saturday, but the PP let us down once again. If Markov had been in that game, we have put the game away late in the second. Heck, just bringing him to play on the PP in the Anaheim makes sense. It makes a heck of a lot more sense then playing St. Denis like 3 minutes the other day as a 7th D. C'mon Martin, make a smart move for once.

Markov eased in with minimal even strength time, and full two minute powerplay shifts . With Weber dressed as a 12th FWD/7th D to let Markov go at his own pace. Make it happen Martin.

I think I read on RDS Martin said he's paired with Emelin when he comes back in to easy him back in.. He's not going to be top pairings at first

We need him back badly. The PP is killing this team.
I agree. Give him big minutes on the PP and limit his 5 on 5 time. No PK for now.

What do you mean by "knowing the Habs"?

I think most fans would prefer they wait rather than put him back in too early. Obviously only he and the doctors know if Wednesday is the right time or "too early".

Right now Markov would make a huge difference to us. Our PP sucks and we could really, really use him. I just hope he comes back, plays well and stays healthy. If he does, that should be good enough to get us into the playoffs.

The tweet:

LucGelinas Luc Gelinas
Selon toute vraisemblance, Markov va revenir au jeu demain contre les Ducks. Il forme un duo avec Emelin alors que Weber est sur le 4e trio.

Weber on 4th line and Diaz in. Seems like Leblanc won't be playing.
