glad to see the kid earn a call-up, and judging from what's been said about his play in the AHL, the call-up is deserved.
while I'm fine with JM putting him on the 4th line and using him sparringly, I do hope he gets himself at least a taste of playing with some of our top-9 players.

#Habs Louis Leblanc will wear #71.
The irony is that the very first time I saw Leblanc play, in his draft year in the USHL, the first person I thought of was Ribeiro as LL wore #71 in the USHL, both were skinny offensive players.

Perhaps they are trying to pay homage to the best decade ever for the Habs just without the disco!
Isn't Leblanc something like 6ft0 160? He will get pushed around more easily than Grabovski in his rookie season.
LL got pushed around at the WJC last year, I'm sure he will get pushed around against NHL'ers this year - but so does Palushaj, who I assume is Leblanc's competition for a spot right now. Hopefully LL can make up for it with speed, tenacity and smarts.
AHL has him at 6ft0 178 but I don't really believe that.. The guy is a toothpick.
You didn't watch the World Juniors did you? Certainly doesn't play like a toothpick, but by all means continue to base your opinions on height and weight.

Ummm RBC, he didn't say he played like one Roulin did. Just that he looks like one. People must stop thinking everyone has it in for the next francophone hero.
Right back at ya. He does not weigh more then 170 lbs.
RDS has him at 184 lbs in their article. I don't think peoples that follow his camps has him 15 lbs more than he is.
Not everybody look the same at the same weight. An exemple : I'm 6'0 165lbs and got comment that I look almost 180 lbs, while I have a friend who is 6'1 and 195 lbs and look like a toothpick
IMO he remind me a lot of the Chris Higgins that we had.
Haha don't get me wrong i like his two way game, and i'm sure he will have a good short stint. But i just am not too excited about hearing the Bergerons of this world as they try to push this young lad on an already highly expectant fanbase.

At least Habs organization have the option to put him in the AHL if he doesn't live up to it. It's way better than the Latendresse case.

Actually, what he said was that, Leblanc was 160, and therefore would "get pushed around more easily than Grabovski in his rookie season". And if he, or Roulin for that matter, knew anything about Leblanc other than his height and weight, they wouldn't have said that. The sentence "He got pushed around at the WJC" is the farthest thing from the truth, he was one of Canada's best players on the forecheck and in the corners.

Hopefully we get to see him in a top 6 role. I hate it when teams call up smaller skilled guys and play them 4 minutes of even strength hockey on a bottom line.
