No, just no. The Boils suck, they have like 3-4 good songs, Greg is ****** and that 'Orange and Black' song is a terrible rip off of The Dropkick Murphys.
I never post here, just read a lot. But I can't stand when they play that song after games. I'd hate to hear it anymore often.

How is it a ripoff of the Dropkick Murphys? There can't be two bands with songs about hockey teams?

I've been saying that since I heard the song.
I don't know maybe try listening to a couple albums by the Boils before they put out that 'Flyers' record. I just think that song is absolutely horrid and it sounds like a bad dropkick song. It has nothing to do with 'being about a hockey team' and just because it's a song about the Flyers doesn't make it awesome, by default.
Honestly, a lot of it stems from my personal dislike of Greg (the singer/main guy of the ban). I witnessed a lot of stupid, ignorant **** that he's done and i just don't like him. So there's that, but again, that song is garbage.
Dude, please. It's such a ridiculously bad Dropkick knock-off song that it's not even funny.
The lyrics are horrible and the instrumentals might as well have been ripped right from Dropkick.
On top of that, it's like the only Celtic-Rock style song they've done. Everything else they do is just straight punk rock (and terrible punk rock @ that).
I mean seriously... look @ these lyrics:

And if we're going to rip off another team's goal song, I'd prefer we just keep Bro Hymn. It was the perfect song for this city and this team. It's definitely better than some cheap Celtic Rock knockoff song when we are more known for our Italian population than our Irish population. Boston is the only city that should have a celtic rock song as their goal song b/c that city is irish through and through... their b-ball team is the celtics for gods sakes.
I don't know, I really don't understand the Dropkick comparisons. I wouldn't call this song "celtic-rock" and it is much slower and simpler than most Dropkick songs.
The doop song is awful...as philly fans we pride ourselves on having BALLS and this song sounds like we are in the jersey shore fist pumping like douchey guidos...get rid of it we need a metal song after all we are megadeath's security.
and you should get better taste in music.
