GEC Ticket Scalpers

I happen to be driving through Nashville tommorow and I really wanted to stop for the game. I needed a ticket for me and one for my wife, but the GEC doesnt have any 2 tickets left together, this one is just a few seats from being sold out.

My question is: has anybody had any experience with scalpers this season? Ive resorted to them before but that was quite a while ago. Will I be able to get a decent deal?

The game isnt on tv, thats the kicker. I wont be back with my Center Ice until I get to Kentucky on Monday.

They are fine but it can be somewhat tough to get a good deal before faceoff. There are a bunch along the Hilton side of 5th-- try the south end away from Broadway first where there is less traffic. Tell them you are going up to Broadway if you can't get "X" and you might have some luck.

well they tried to hose me, claiming that the game was sold out, which I had heard the same reported elsewhere, they really jacked the prices up so I refused to pay.

Im glad that I did because I ended up using my parent's season tickets for free.

I used "them" earlier this year. You can always find a decent deal if you are willing to wait and bargain a little. I always try to find people that are going to be watching the game and have an "extra" ticket or two, they usually aren't trying to make profits on it.
Remember that just as bad as you want to see the game, they want to sell their tickets. Waiting as long as possible keeps your chances of a cheaper ticket better than buying early.

Next time just walk up to the GEC without a ticket they will let you in for free, you can sit beside the cardboard cutout people; someone in Winnipeg told me, he read it in the Paper.
