I can't believe Weber is sitting in favor of St-Denis

Probably just sending a message to the kid, but yeah, he's been pretty bad.

It would not surprise me to see Weber traded very soon.

With Markov, Campoli and Spacek coming back, Emelin proving he deserves to be in the line-up, and Diaz and St. Denis showing they are reliable call-ups, Weber's played himself off the team.

Markov-Emelin
Gorges-Subban
Gill-Spacek/Campoli
Diaz
St. Denis
Weber

Martin ending his Weber at F experiment to showcase Leblanc.

Weber + Leblanc + 1st for Ryan.

As bad as Weber has been, I would have benched Diaz first.

I think Weber has been worse than Diaz lately. But that's just my opinion.

I'm not a big Weber fan, but as bad as he's been.. Id play him over St-Denis and Diaz any day.

Our powerplay is in trouble with him.. imagine how it's going to be without him?..

@LucGelinas
Long entretien entre Jacques Martin et Louis Leblanc à la fin de l'entraînement. Â la fin, on l'a vu avec Moen et Eller à quelques reprises.

Wouldn't be surprised if Leblanc got some shifts with Eller. He only has to outplay Palushaj. Let's see how motivated these kids play. Palushaj is probably hungry for more ice time and this is his chance. Although knowing Martin both will be benched for Darche.

So, we're to assume Markov isn't playing since he skipped the morning skate? Has anyone actually said he is or isn't playing? I'm thinking if he's still hurt he'd skate in the morning and skip the game. Hmmmmm. Might explain the Emelin-St Denis pairing - St Denis just filling a spot that Markov will have when the puck drops. No one can convince me St Denis is a better option than Weber at this point.

Offiicially not playing.
But more importantly any set back, or just not to strain the knee?

i think this is the easiest game to win, i would have put Price in. McGuire said they should be in San Jose at something like 3am if they leave tonight, its gonna be rough tomorrow.

Markov is just chilling in California, being a boss. Probably didn't feel like answering media questions all morning, so he didn't. Because he's Andrei ****ing Markov. Probably in the parking lot with Erik Cole, doing bad ass stuff. Kicking ass and taking names.

So it seems that Palushaj is out in favour of St-Denis, Weber still sucking on defense (or at forward, whichever).

I'm impressed by the decision to play Budaj instead of Price. Impressed. Because the way I see it, this is the game we actually have a shot at.

If it ends up like that fiasco against the Isles, i'll slowly join the fire the coach movement. Not much of an alarmist myself, but I am puzzled. Price must be tired from that 3 day break...

I've been a big fan of Weber this year but he's been terrible the last few games, and looks like he completely forgot how to one-time a puck. I don't mind him watching one from the pressbox.
