I was just about to post about Botta's tweet, and to add that I saw a tweet saying the Sabres were asking about Parros. NHLInsights was the name of the account, not sure how reliable they are just putting it out there.
The cap isn't as big of an issue to me as the lack of willingness to give up assets...
The cap & budget constraints will make it tough because any deal not only has to match asset-wise, but it has to be pretty darn close to dollar for dollar as the Sabres are in LTIR credit range and the Ducks have maxed out their budget for this year.
That adds an extra layer of complexity to things.

Let me rephrase: Enroth has a losing record since becoming the starting goalie of this team as of the first game after the 6-2 loss to the Bruins. Miller was injured in this game.

As a dream, Getzlaf, Hiller, and Parros for Miller, Stafford, and Ellis is also a match with Anaheim taking on a prorated down piece of a $150k salary gap with the Sabres getting a prorated piece of a $75k cap savings.
Yes. He used to be their equivalent of Kevin Snow and they parted ways. Last year, he was pretty critical of their management and they tried to give him the boot by pulling his press credentials.
An interesting option. Bob Murray was in the house for the Sabres and Islanders last night. The Sabres obviously have an owner who has pushed for a bold move or two.

Its not that hard on us honestly. Anaheim being near contract limit hurts.
If we wanted we could LTIR Boyes until we come up with a solution. I don't believe hes on LTIR at the moment.

Queen City Sports is a website that a few fans at Buffalo Bills.com made this past year. They have claimed to have all sorts of sources in the past and they always end up with egg on their face.
They are no different than any other fan in speculating except they pass their speculation off as coming from a source.
What defenseman would the Sabres part with that is on par with Schenn if the Ducks want a top end D in the deal?
That's my point. Unless the Ducks are dead set on making the deal around an NHL ready defensive defenseman with a pedigree, our assets are simply better than what Toronto is bringing to the table. And if that's what Anaheim really wants for him, the Sabres wouldn't have gotten the guy anyway.
