My vote goes to sleep now in the fire by Rage Against the Machine:

After we score, start it off @ 0:21... go to 0:34, then cut to 1:16 and play it out till 1:27.

Would also be cool to work 2:56 till 3:27 in there somehow.

Anyway, I think it has a lot of potential. Just keep it on the refrain / the sweet guitar rifts and the solo and it would be an epic goal song.

Haha oh **** this might work.

This song could work with our "youth movement" I guess.

This possibly.

Just throwing out ideas.

Not bad. They might want a longer flow then that tho. Most goal songs go about 45 seconds after its scored.

Definitely. This is what we need for a goal song. I want my ears to bleed every time the Flyers score.

screamo?

0:20 to 0:34 (14 secs)
this blends perfectly w/
1:12 to 1:27 (15 secs)
this blends perfectly w/
2:56 to 3:20 and fade out with the option to extend it if time permits (24 secs)

All totaled, it'd be 53 seconds of song and if someone better than me w/ tech could blend it, it would sound beastly... a friend of mine has done it before and it sounds sick for a goal song.

Yes... screamo. Where the lead singer (devoid of all talent) screams into the microphone attempting to make your ears bleed rather than SINGING the lyrics. Screamo is for 15 y/o kids who think they're all cool and hardcore.

Musically, it's total <crap. And the majority of flyers fans being non-teenagers, this goal song would never fly.

Honestly, screamo is gayer than our current goal song.
