The problem has been Weber, not Gill.

This is very true. Diaz has been very weak also.

I agree... he's has played badly... that's why there was a wink at the end.

But then again, Gill no longer covers up for many mistakes by his partner

Despite all of this, offense remains a much bigger problem for the Habs than defense and there is no help in sight for the offense.

Maybe i'm wrong, but now on RDS website, they say Palushaj is out and St-Denis is playing upfront So Weber should be playing D http://www.rds.ca/canadien/chroniques/330876.html

Cole - Desharnais - Cammalleri
Kostitsyn - Plekanec - Gionta
Moen - Eller - Leblanc
Darche - Nokelainen - St-Denis

Trying to sneak out of work to get to the warmup!

I wonder if my boss will notice if I just move the printer on to my chair and pretend it's me? Probably not.

I'm such a huge fan of St-Denis but I'm seriously so sick of non-forward defensemen playing upfront.

Whats the ig deal with this anyway? i see people complain all day about this, but i have yet to stumble upon a specific example of why it is a bad strategy or what bad results it has caused?

i see it in two ways. Like anything in life, when someone doesn't understand something (ignorant on the subject) he will criticize it.

People will use this as an excuse to further solidify their hate on martin as a coach.

Possible positives, from playing D upfront:
Player learns new tricks.
Player gains new perspective of the game.
D personnel are ready to step in, if X forward(s) get injured.
Only plays >10 min per game, plays against oposition "weak" lines; reduction in importance in errors that MIGHT happen because they are natural Ds. But then again, i doubt 4th line duties require a deeper understanding of Defensive responsibilities then playing D.

I actually remembered, most people around here preferred when Bergeron was playing 4th line, because he wouldn't be a nuisance on the blue line. lol!

Peter Budaj va jouer avec un nouveau masque ce soir. Ce masque est un hommage au joueur de soccer Lionel Messi.

We're 2-1 against Boston this year. Our loss was a 1-0 game. I mean...are you serious?

I said we look intimidated ( like for Lucic and Horton and Chara and Thornton and McQuaid and etc etc etc. ! Where did you read this part about us being bad against the Bruins ? I mean.... are you serious ? And yes the Leafs in general are playing better than us.

How do we "look intimidated" when we won the first two games and barely lost the third? Where's the logic?

I hope we keep looking intimidated, if it means we keep playing well against them.

Seriously you are just using this as an excuse and you know that. We caught the Bruins during their terrible losing streak and we took advantage. Just watch how the Habs skate around after the whistle. Everyone has their tail between their legs. It will be like this until we get some muscle.

We look intimidated, yet they struggle against us more than possibly any other team in the league. The Leafs might not be "intimidated", but they have been consistently outplayed by Boston in every meeting this season. Boston blew them out in their first two meetings, and they are currently losing again.

Yet the Habs are somehow afraid of them while they play them hard in every meeting...
