You ain't kidding...

I saw on twitter that the Ducks beat writer reported Ducks expected to fire Carlyle.. Which wasn't that much a shocker then outta no where there was like 22 unread tweets in 15 seconds I knew something was up haha.

Have to think the Ducks have been in talks with Bruce the second after he got fired.

Would you look at that! A struggling team with good management fires their coach and hires the best available while we still have our AHL coach.

If you think our coach if the biggest reason were losing then you haven't been watching too many games...lets start with the product on the ice first

I don't get- Dale Hunter and Kirk Muller are hired this week, I really expected Darcy Tucker to be the next coach employed this year.

its not about the coach for the Islanders. Stop the nonsense. No depth on this team, not his fault.

Let's try to leave the NYI coaching situation out of this thread. There's other placed to discuss that.

$5M plus another $2M for the Garth Team USA buddies gets us two young budding character guys with skill for the second and third lines. Or a top 2 defenseman and a solid third line mainstay minimum.

I'm not looking to dump Cappy yet - but the sight of a team in the dumps actively moving on Boudreau makes me think of, well, 29 other teams. Wang is truly an innovative owner.

Nothing against Bourdeau but he and Cappy are players coaches. Bourdeau is a slightly more of an offensive coach but what would he had done with this Islander team that Cappy hasn't done yet?

Nothing. I'm not ready to get rid of Cappy.

I just like the timing. The Isles would wait til summer and cop out of any search for better.

Cappy's been good. Snow....well, he has his supporters I'm sure.

I just hope they're sweaty and moldy.

Anyone who wants to talk about Boudreau to the Ducks, here's the link to the thread on the NHL General Discussion forum http://hfboards.com/showthread.php?t=1043633

Guys, this isn't the ESPN.com boards. Not every single thread has to turn into a bash Wang/Snow thread. I'm closing this one, because it's no longer even about what it was originally intended to be about.

Pretty shocked. The Ducks just came off a solid win to end their skid, and they played pretty well in that game. Guess Anaheim was really desperate for Boudreau. Very interesting.

Squash all Bobby Ryan rumors. He's staying in Anaheim.
