No, I think they ruled the tie down broke. Ray said something to that effect on the Sabres' broadcast.

That's what we thought from where we were sitting and watching the replay, it looks like it comes undone late. He left to go get repairs to his one finger.

Yeah you can see the tie down stretching like crazy around the 34-35 second mark. It was fastened, but it snapped.

That was actually a really hard fight to watch. Probably some of the worst punches I've ever seen thrown. Worse than Semin's.
