Indeed he is. I hated Phil Bourque back then too. I guess if they don't blackout the game, I'll have to watch the game muted.

As an Ex-Navy guy, I can tell you there are plenty of times when an authority figure tells you you need to be at Point B in an unrealistic amount of time.

My honest opinion? Dale is trying to get the players to jump at the sound of his voice, something BB probably didn't do a whole lot of, since it wasn't his style. He probably told them to get to the video room or something in 2 minutes or they'd be doing Herbies/Suicides or whatever.

I personally think it's a good sign in regards to the coaching climate.

If that comment is not worthy of an infraction from the mods, nothing is.

Meh, Bylsma basically has that one damn game over the Caps. If that puck settles for Ovie on the early breakaway, the Caps might grab the momentum and take the game.

Since then, he's been utterly dominated.

And Errey can choke on his microphone.

Kettler isn't all that big. I could run from one end to the other in about 10 seconds...

But I hope you're right that he's trying something to get them to respond.

Hunter is a much more structured coach than Boudreau will ever be. Completely apples and oranges, but maybe that strict regimentation is what the Caps need right now. Frankly, I'm happy that Bruce got picked up right away by Anaheim. It tells me I wasn't completely in the wrong to support his coaching til the end.

Tonight's game is nothing, if not an excellent opportunity to shockstart this team. Every time you put Malkin in front of Ovi he lights up like a damn Christmas tree. Hell if I were Dale I'd start NeuvyBECAUSE **** YOU DAN BYLSMA THAT'S WHY. This team gets up for it's rivals, DC Hockey culture, fans and players alike wake up when the Pens roll through town. Winning this one is all the confidence they need to get back on track.

fans, reporters, office people, they all get in the way. And there could be stairs involved. and you might need to change out of your hockey skates first. It's not that hard to make people hustle if you need to.

Boudreau had his 'skate a lap' if you were last to the boards when a drill was being explained...used when he first became head coach of the Caps and during camps. Not sure how regularly he did that during the season, anyone who attends practices know?

As to the report, not surprised, accountability likely, but also it has been noted they are trying to do a lot of video review with the coaching staff changes.

As to where this took place, sounds to me like it was locker room to video room, not in the open part of KCI.

As I suspected. Both Jimmy Johnson and Hunter are big on video as a coaching tool.

are you just saying this to argue or prove a point??

I have had to rush out of equipment to make it to the video room, and coach told us we had 6 minutes to make that happen. try taking off you stuff and running to the video room in 6 minutes.

gives you no time to think of where your **** is, grab a cell phone, a water bottle, or anything??

All kidding aside i'm sure BCF would rather have Semins jersey... with any but the Capitals logo on it...
which at this time i can't really fault him for...

I seriously want Ovy and to wake up here....the whole world is watching..and all everyone is doing is blaming ovechkin for BB firing...saying he's immature..blah blah...Just nut up and get back your game. I'd hate to see this be the end of him.
