R.J. Umberger

Hey guys, I have a question about Umberger, if he progresses his game and makes it to All Star material, I have a signed Plum High School Hockey Jersey(where he went), how much would u think it would be worth, or how much would u pay for it?

Probably 75 dollars at most?

If it's actually his and game worn, more, but just a sign jersey?

I can predict he could score 50-60 pts a year in his career.

Hey, I'm just glad it's not another fantasy thread. "Should I pick up RJ's high school sweater for my pool?" The answer is yes, by the way.

If he ever became an All-Star, maybe around $600-700? That's about what his NHL game worn would go for if he ever got to that level. Perhaps a little higher, maybe closer to $1,000. It's hard to say, because it's not an NHL jersey, but a high-school jersey. I don't know how much someone would pay for that.

I think those figures are still high. I would estimate $200-$300 tops for the jersey. But, a factor that would keep most collectors away, including myself, is authenticity. Most autographed memorabilia on the market is fake. An just any old LOA will not suffice. Unless you have an LOA from a top company like Steiners, then you would have a hard time selling it.

Somewhat unrelated, but a very good friend of mine played on his line for a time as a teenager.
