Cole is 10th in NHL in hits (6th among forwards) with 61 hits (on pace for 208 hits in 82 games).

Love the signing so far!

However, Cole has proved he belongs on our PP as he's consistently in our Top-3 forwards. Usually with a mix of Desharnais, Eller, Pacioretty and surprisingly, Travis Moen.
Proof that people using only stats to base their rational are out to lunch. Surprising that a coach at that level would make such stupid mistakes.

I get excited whenever Cole touches the puck. He makes things happen out of nothing.

It's funny, because when he signed Cole, one of the first thing Carolina fans told us was how bad he played on the PP.

Cole is a very good power forward. Sometimes he has Russ Courtnall type moments where his brain and hands can't keep up with his feet though. Over skating the puck and losing control.

He's been a great addition, his poor hands and puck control are what keep him from being great instead of just very good. I've been happy with him so far, and love what he brings to the club.

It doesn't matter how bad he is on the PP, Darche shouldn't even be in the NHL and was on the PP over him.

Bravo to Erik Cole for stepping up for Leblanc's parents! What a great gesture!!

For those who don't know, he told Louis to get his parents to Anaheim while taking care of everything

Stache16 george parros
If u want my vote for best Movember muzzy, it has to be Erik Cole of MTL, he didn't cheat with early growth and has a shrub under his nose!

When Parros himself compliments you on your stache, you know you dun gooooood.

He'll probably be benched for this or suspended by the NHL for loansharking.

Otherwise kudos to a class act

I just heard about it on RDS.

Man that is so cool. For sure it cost Cole a couple grand (which isn't much money to him) but it shows how he cares for his teammates. Definitely one of the coolest things I've heard players do. And I'm sure this kind of stuff happens all the time we just don't hear about it, but still, how awesome is that.

Cole is like alternate universe version of Gomez. Not ridiculously overpaid, can score, play physical, and is nice.

As much as I hate Gomez playing on this team, if there's one thing he isn't it's mean. He's a nice guy and he does give to charity and stuff, he's just ridiculously overpaid. Don't confuse on-ice play with off-ice personality.

To be fair Gomez does seem like a nice guy and a good teammate. But on the ice his dragging down of his teammates is not so nice.

He isn't a dangler and isn't a 1st line player. He's perfect for this team though.

I think he's a borderline 1st line player. He makes so many chances and if he was given the chance to settle in with a line, I think he would make the players around him all produce more than they normally would.
