1) Del Zotto
2) Gaborik
3) Hagelin

It was a classic trap game, and the Rangers played a great game against a super desperate team.

Carolina played a great game. Their breakouts and passes were crisp and they were very good on the forecheck. It's just that the Rangers were much better.

Great game.

Voted Gabby, Hags, and Sauer but I thought about voting MDZ, McD, Girardi, Avery, Dubi, Cally, etc. Team effort.

A disciplined game, too. Only the one bad minor by Prust!

Gabby is obviously earning a star, but good to see many others battling for 2nd and 3rd. Sound game from everyone.

Del Zotto had a pretty solid defensive game I thought and it's just a really nice effort from everyone. GREAT team game.

I get the feeling there is not a lot of love lost there. Avery has admitted he's a tough guy to get along with.

Gabby, Hagelin and Sauer.

Really wanted to give that last vote to MDZ because I thought he played excellently. I voted for him a ton early on in the season and his play has just continued to be excellent. Glad he's getting recognition.

Lots of HMs. Too many to list, tbh.

The difference between Del Zotto this year and Del Zotto last year is incredible really. It's night and day.

MDZ and Aves can have strong personalities that can totally butt heads. You throw a pretty fiery dubie in there, you've got yourself a party

Yeah, he & Eminger looked quite OK actually. Last game as well. Good if they can clock 13-15 minutes per game. Good overall effort. Now we have a team that can roll 4 lines. That is simply a must over 82 games and keeps the top 6 fresher as well. Avery - Dubinsky-Prust were the best line imo. Hagelin was very close to breaking loose a couple times, I think he is up to stay. Christ is done. We have MZA, Deveaux & Newbury in Hartford as callups plus Wolski & Rupp are both sidelined but due to return in 2 weeks or so. Showcase him and get a 7th, draft an unknown Euro goalie that serves as Hanks future replacement and all is good...done & done
I voted Sauer, Avery & Gaborik but this was a total tossup. MDZ, Girardi, Mcd were all good on D, Mitchell was a warrior, Cally, Dubinsky, Prust and Hagelin all had honourable mentions. OK were Boyle, Feds, Biron, 3rd D pairing and Artie (slick pass). Richards was not very good except for the 1st goal. Missed a lot of neutral zone passes, faceoffs and looked a bit slow in general. He will be back soon I am certain - but I expect A LOT for someone being played $12.000.000 this year to play around 26 hours of effective time hockey (plus the playoffs of course). Not including practices it equals around $461.538 per effective played hour on ice... lol

IMO, MDZ was 1 of our best players tonight. Gabby was clear #1 but had a tough choice between Girardi and MDZ for spots #2 and #3. 27 minutes for McDonagh and Girardi and 22 for MDZ. The kid can be relied on in most situations. Great to see, his game has come a long way.

I hope not. We don't need a locker room division.
