Tied for first in the East with 4 ROW.

2 points behind division leading Pens in 4 less games, with 1 less win.

1st in the East in GA.

3rd in the East in differential (+16).

First in the league in win percentage.

This is a good, no, DAMN good hockey team. What a feeling.

actually, it would be real easy for dubinsky to hear, they celebrated on the half boards, the rangers bench actually goes well over the blue line.....so any player halfway down the bench could hear anything said at a reasonable voice level on the half boards. Especially since the area was quited with a the raod team scoring......also avaery didnt whisper what he said, it was a dickish comment something to the affect ( reading his lips ) "its my f'ing job". I saw no cane player near them when the celebrated either. You dont have to like what i'm saying, but i saw what i saw and so did others, thats all.

That was my first impression.... Hard to imagine any circumstances which would have 2 teammates upset with each other after scoring a goal...

I'm not sure why there was so much initial doubt about this, though. I felt the day we signed Richards, we took a step up. What's so awesome is how Girardi, McDonagh and MDZ all took steps forward in their respective developments.

Anyone know where I can catch some of the video from the locker room later? I don't have MSG or wherever they show the post game stuff, but I would love to see it. Interviews on nhl.com and tsn.ca are often rather short and I bet there's a lot more juicy stuff somewhere. Anyone know if this stuff is uploaded somewhere (even if I have to wait a bit)?

Wow, people are complaining about Avery? You guys are a joke. He has goals, has forechecked very well, is fighting when necessary, and isn't taking stupid penalties. He has 21 PIM I think, and 3 fights. So he has 6 real PIM's.

How can you be complaining?

You're usually not missing much... But I'm pretty sure you can catch most of the interviews and lockerroom stuff on the Rangers website, On Demand... It will probably be up by tomorrow afternoon....

Whos complaining about avery? Somebody in th GDT thread mentioned something that i too saw. All we are trying to do is figure out what happened and who he was yappping at?

Some people just have a hard on for avery and anytime something is brought up that doesnt praise him......they immediately think hes being bashed.

He played well, and i for one dont mind him. Not once was anybody questioning him and his play tonight.

Thanks. I usually check the rangers website, but it still doesn't seem to contain all the stuff. But if you think that I get more of the important stuff by going there tomorrow, I guess that will have to do.

Cheers!

The victory song is the best. It even has lyrics:

Just keep your stick on that puck
And don't lay down on your luck;
That's the Rangers' Victory Song!
Get through the enemy's goal
With all your heart and your soul;
That's the Rangers' Victory Song!

Listen to the cheering of the people in the stands
Twenty Thousand hockey bugs and each a Ranger fan!
It's plain as day to see
They want a victory!
All together now strike up the band!

Just keep your stick on that puck
And don't lay down on your luck;
That's the Rangers' Victory Song!
Get through the enemy's goal
With all your heart and your soul;
That's the Rangers' Victory Song!

You've got to fight, Rangers fight
With a grin on your chin!
Tonight is the night
So get in there and win!

This game is worth any price;
Go out and put it on ice
That's the Rangers' Victory Song!

Ding, ding, ding. We have a winner. I was going to vote Sauer even before he scored - he was absolutely dominant in the defensive zone.

Gabby is so dangerous. Perhaps even more dangerous than his first year here. I'm used to being afraid of other team's stars the way he is threatening to the opposition this year. It's a wonderful feeling.

As for Hagelin. Is it too early to say he's been an absolute revelation? Kid is a player - has second line upside. (By the way, I have voted for him for all of the last four games - should I just keeping doing it?)

yeah, yeah, 3 points...

What's amazing is that the team has only 5 regulation losses, and 8 combined. They've nearly double their win-to-loss ratio. And, IN those losses, all but one game was within reach (@ Habs). Only blowout game against this season.

No problem... The post game show is only 30 minutes following the game... They usually interview 2 Rangers players (sometimes 3), and then cut back to analysis by the broadcast team and then cut in to the coach answers questions.... But these clips are usually pretty brief... No more than 60-90 seconds with the individual players and a few minutes of Torts being interviewed... I'm sure you can catch the large majority of the content on the Rangers website, maybe even additional content that doesn't make it to the live broadcast....

You'll want to check MSG.com, not the rangers site, they usually get the post-game stuff up pretty quick, including player interviews & torts press conference:

http://www.msg.com/our-teams/rangers

They already have highlights, and post-game videos up.

Nobody was complaining about him just trying to figure out what that exchange was about. I'm obviously a huge Avery fan. I noticed it too it appeared to me that he was upset with mdz about something.

Finally, somebody who doesnt jump to conclusions......and also noticed the same thing.......thank you.

Its a fact that not all players on a team get along on or off the ice ( even on stanley cup winning teams ), but avery seemed to go from happy to being pissed real fast and it appeared to me aimed at MDZ......Dubi go involved too. Now, i, like others just want to know what happened.
