Good snag to slow things down by Rinne. Tootoo with a terrible play at the blueline followed by wiping out

Toots needs to stop the blind backhand pass. It's never ending well.

What a pass by Wilson and a BLAST from Weber. Gorgeous.

Smith and Wilson look great together. Please don't break them up Trotz.

That was a freakin great pp goal goal Smith makes a play off side boards and Wilson makes a move from behind the net and Weber with a bomb....pp text book. Smith set the whole thing up when he made the move which allowed Wilson to make his move.

Colin Wilson, Craig Smith, and Shea Weber all with two points in the first period. Let's keep the foot on the pedal

edit: oops, I was beaten to that haha

both in my opinion. He is only worth about 3.5 in my mind.

That being said, Smith is worth his weight in gold. This kid has vision, talent, and wheels to get this offense going. Trust in him!

Someone on the Canucks GDT earlier (maybe it was yesterday) posted a prediction of a 2-1 game (Vancouver), and added that if anyone wanted entertaining hockey this wouldn't be the game because the Predators are boring (paraphrasing). Well, the first period was 3-1 (Nashville) and pretty entertaining.

Trotz has a great tendency to outthink hisself....in a perfect world you want 4 lines that can score and backcheck and then you wake up .....Anybody in there right mind can see the chemistry with Smith and Wilson

Because they stopped scoring before Legwand came back. Notice that all of their points tonight are on the PP. The misremebering of things that never were around here rivals that of Abe Simpson.

I know this is an odd time to say, but idk why Trotz has Horny in the top 6. If SK was in i would have Patric on line 3, dude hasnt scored in 10 games. Not 1 point.

He doesnt generate offense, he gets pts on the pp and by being a pest in front. Hes just as useful on the 3rd line than the top 2. He should never be with Smith Wilson/Legwand Wilson.

Demote him to line 3 and keep him on PP
