The big+ is that maybe they finally found the place for Jagr on PP. Next time, all the time, right side please.

Good to get a point out of that game, and with a little bit of help from the refs we get the second as well. Shows some team spirit coming back after falling behind 0-3.

Jagr and Timonen had great games. Hartnell and Meszaros did their bit as well. Giroux has some shot, even though he shoots a lot more this year (thanks Jagr) than previous seasons, he could probably shoot a little more often.

3 Stars is so arbitrary. They're made before the game even ends usually.

Timonen and Jagr were obviously outstanding tonight, but I thought Carle was excellent defensively, and this is coming from a Carle hater.

Can't say he shouldn't have gotten the extra 2... it was a blatant penalty, nothing to argue about. Via twitter I'm hearing he had some choice words for the refs (cannot repeat them here, but I'm sure you can guess). He then slammed his stick into the glass like a baby.

Then, once in the box, he cross-checked the door, further showing his anger. Although in all fairness, I dunno if he already had been called for the extra 2 at this point or not.

Anyway, totally boneheaded move, he had no grounds to argue the call, get in there and shaddup. He earned the extra 2.

3.8m, UFA after this year. He's probably available at the trade deadline, though we would need to juggle the cap a bit, and probably outbid some others. Still, we have a couple extra 2nd floating around...

I'm hoping HBO filmed it. If not they are making him redo it for them.

Beauchemin is one hell of a defenseman apart from the occasional turnovers. He would look great alongside Timonen, he plays his best complementing guys like that.

You guys have got one hell of a player in Giroux. I've been a huge fan of him ever since the 2010 finals, he and Datsyuk are by far the most enjoyable players to watch in the league.

I would think this would have to involve Simmonds (or some combo trade of Simmonds) to fit him in under. And I'd be OK w/ that.

I don't feel sorry for the Ducks!

Who the hell told them to blow a 3-0 lead?

The call at the end was cheesy but Getzlaf shouldn't have lost his mind.

Nah. It won't take a roster player, nor should we trade one for a rental of that caliber.

Who knows, we might have the cap space with LTIR reserve. He's definately a player I would want to have for a playoff run. I'd feel a lot more comfortable if Pronger or Timonen aren't right.

Of course HBO decided to take the road trip off.

That would have been an amazing game to watch behind the scenes.

He is having a really good season. He is an ufa in the summer, so if Boudreau can't right the ship there (already having troubles with his captain not being disciplined enough...), they might look to trade him at the deadline. Doubt they'll move him before that though, he plays almost half the game for them now that Visnovsky is out. I think he likes it there as well, so I don't know how interested he would be in a move, and I think he has a nmc.

I though Sbisa and Lydman had pretty strong games for them as well. Lydman is a beast on the pk.

I would like Beauchemin but he might retire. He's getting up there in age.
