Refs sucked for both teams, but without Price that game ends 5-2 easily.
Bernier made some great saves too

Habs first period wasn't great but they played a strong 2nd & 3rd.

.500 team is .500

We'll be better when Patches comes back. Diaz is playing major minutes for this team & Emelin is getting good minutes too. It would be nice if either one of Spacek or Campoli can come back this week to sub for Weber.

Subban got away with one late, but then the Kings got away with tons in this game.

Nice to get 3 points after losing Wednesday. PP looks a lot better than the Anaheim game where it basically gave them momentum.

I don't see how Subban's was any more of an embellishment than the hit on Doughty earlier. And for the record, I don't think either embellished that much. They may have sold the hits a bit, but both were clearly boarding calls.

Yup, he had a strong game and was lucky on a couple too, one went through him and was in the crease for a second in the 3rd. Cole and Cammy need to be better, both looked bad on some good chances.

And what I would say to that is, without Bernier Kings easily lose that game 6-2. Can't quite wrap my head around which game you were watching.

He did, can't take that away from him, but he wasn't relied upon as much as Price was, and always is every. Single. Game.

With the habs finish, not likely.

Same thing that Subban does but better. Did you see him play in the Olympics? Sorry but Subban is not in the same league yet.

Tough challenge, considering Columbus is supposed to be worse than us.

He's much better than Subban. I'm not denying that, I just don't like the player. Same way M. Richards, Marchand, Lucic etc are great players - but I can't stand them. Anyways... good win the for the Habs today.

So, when Habs don't score it's because of no finish (no credit to the other goalie). When the Kings don't score it's because Price was sensational? The only sensational save Price really had to make was that fluke bounce off the dump-in. Kings shots/scoring chances weren't anywhere near as dangerous as the Habs.

Not in the same league is an exaggeration. A rookie defensemen doesn't just accidentally score 14 goals.

A playoff-level PK Subban is a whole different player capable of going up against the best of em, i.e. neutralizing Lucic/Krejci/Horton, and scoring clutch goals. It's a shame people have such short memories sometimes.

Yeah, really. Bernier had much tougher saves to make than Price. Price played very well, but so did the Habs as a team, especially in the final two periods. We easily could've won this one by 2 or 3 goals if Cammy or Cole buried the numerous chances they got.

The win was deserved.
