Possible NS players returning to Jr A/Midget before deadline??

Any thoughts on possible players returning to Jr A/Major Midget before the December 15th deadline (I think it's Dec 15th)

Nathan Mckinnon (Halifax) - That's a joke people!
Ryan Falkenham (Halifax)
Kelly Bent (PEI)
Ryan Graves (PEI)
Adam Stevens (Bathurst)
Jacob Brennan (Bathurst)
Mark Tremaine (Moncton)
Bronson Beaton (Shawinagan)

anyone else I missed?

We will probably see Falkenheim kept up in Halifax. With the approaching U17, WJC's, and injuries the Moose always seem to be a man or two short. Falkenheim has looked steady with the Moose and I would be comfortable with him sticking with the club.

I was under the impression that the Halifax Titans have already been informed they'd be recieving Falkenheim back this season. Possibly when Frk returns?

Same here. No point keeping him as a 13th forward when Frk returns.

I can't see much of reason Falkenham would stay once Frk returns. He only got a small amount of time tonight. Add to that the possibility that Drouin could be added, and it will be better for him to get some consistent playing time.

He doesn't look out of place out there, but he is just the victim of depth.

I guess I missed that report, whoops. Is he still slotted for the Atlantic?

It was mostly rumours, and maybe tweeted by wuest (iirc). He's on the U17 roster yes.

Re: Falkenham

Halifax currently has 5 healthy D and so they've been playing 13 forwards for the past few games.
Falkenham has been that 13th forward.

RE: Graves & Bent (PEI)

I can't see Graves being sent back to midget, not sure on Bent though. Players that age need ice time to develop and if he isn't getting it with the Rocket, IMO he is better off getting it in midget but with the Rocket you never know what they are going to do.

I know this. That was my point. Once Frk returns he'll be pushed to 14th and be sitting in the pressbox more often than not. Might as well have him play regular in the NSMMHL.

Wasn't trying to disagree,
Just adding some additional info for those fans who aren't able to make it to the games/following each night's rosters closely.

My bad. Just thought you were replying to me specifically. Thanks for the info regardless.

If/when Falkenham returns to midget, that team will be really hard to beat, as they already are showing that by their standings in the league.

But that would likely bump someone from the Halifax Midget AAA team, wouldn't it? Or they would have to make someone an AP to make room for him?

Falkenham to Hfx Titans

Halifax Titan's will get stronger with Falkenham and their main competitor, Dartmouth Taylor Flooring, will get weaker when Cole Murphy joins Cape Breton.

oh right! I forgot I read that on another site. Good for Murphy though, tough for Falkenham. He got caught in a numbers/depth game this year.

I figure Halifax probably already has a few AP's already playing on their roster.

He'll probably end up a better player for it. He wasn't logging very many minutes in Halifax. And he should be a lock next year when Halifax should be even better.
