i see a problem here
unless colaiacovo can convert to a RD there's not enough strength on the left side

that's not going to work, unless one of them takes steroids.

if they can get an established LD (under 30 - gonchar, hamrlik etc) in a package involving colaiacovo i'm all for it, i was at the game - st.john's vs roadrunners - and he hardly looks like the #1 D of the future.
Pilar actually looked far more promising - if not ready now

Well, it's hard to judge a d-man at his age. They usually take a few more years to develop, compared to forwards. IMO, he's in the same situation as Paul Martin in NJ.
