I love how Martin waves his hand in front of his face begging Kassian to stop because Martin didn't have anything to grab onto.

You can clearly see the jersey is tied down, people calling Kassian out for not having it tied down are clearly blind.

I agree, with how little Lucic fights anymore and how bat**** crazy Kassian is I think Kassian will be the premiere powerforward in a couple seasons.

Clowe is the toughest fighter that can play I think, but he'll be getting older than Kassian will be taking the reins.

Gonna be some good battles between him and Looch in the division though

wow did that fight impress you that much? don't get me wrong i like kassian and am happy he is up in the NHL because i want more players like him who can play and fight, but after all the talk i heard about him i was expecting something more than that. Martin is a decent fighter but not that good, i was expecting kassian to bury him. plus kind of disappointing that he wears a visor....

That wasn't as serious tilt as it would of been if they weren't friends. Both throw better than that...

Nope but I've been watching the kid in the OHL for years and he is bat **** crazy.

Lucic really hasnt impressed me lately at all.

As for the visor, hes up on a call up for a bit with Mccormick out hurt, in the AHL you have to wear visors and thats what hes used to playing with.

It would be dumb to ditch the visor when youre used to playing with one, just for a callup where it could be weird for you

yea but when Lucic gets mad he is crazy too. i've seen some of his fights on youtube and to me he doesn't quite look like he could beat Lucic yet. maybe hang in there with him but i just don't see it. hopefully we will be able to see them fight some time soon.

as far as the visor goes, most fighter can't wait until they get to the NHL because they really want to shed it. just sayin.....

give kassian 2-3 more years (at MOST) of NHL caliber conditioning and strength training and he will be giving lucic a run for his money, and i am a big lucic fan. the kid is a beast and he knows it. sky is the limit for him, as long as he wants it as bad as he does right now he will be a major player in this league in the next few years.

consider the fact he already has lucic's size and the kid is what, 20? he will be giving the division fits for years.

Lucic would kick Kassian's ass. I think Kassian has more offensive tools though. Can't wait to see what the future has in store for the guy.

What if Kassian is just a little angry and Lucic is not angry at all, but the organist is playing Kassians favorite song?

a buffalo fan doesn't know about the rob ray rule?

because ray used to pull his sweater and shoulder pads off during his fights giving him an advantage over his opponent (no jersey to hold onto, better range of motion). other guys did it too but ray was notorious for it.

I knew Ray was notorious for it, had no idea it had been outlawed. Thanks.

This was the best post I read all day!! Thank you!!

I think Looch would be fine against just about anyone, but he doesn't really fight anymore, he's converted into player first mode. It's just not his game now that he's a 30 goal guy.

If that's the best the Sabres can do then have mercy.

Good fight and all, but not going to lie, at one point they looked like two cats fighting.

Wait....Kassian wears a visor? Sabre fans banking on this kid being the answer to Lucic and he wears a visor? Ruff wont let this kid anywhere near Lucic, it wont be good for his confidence. Lucic is a piranha, he'll tear that poor kid apart.

No, I think we expect him to develop into a power forward who can put up good numbers.

So his actual play does nothing to influence your opinion one way or the other? But he will, in fact, get eaten alive by Lucic solely because he wears a visor?

Got it.

That Chris Pronger guy, he's a man's man because he doesn't wear a visor. Unfortunately for him, had he been wearing a visor he probably would be playing hockey right now, and for the rest of this year.
