I thought DD was good. Cole should have buried a couple and Cammalleri only had to roof it on the PP after a sick pass by DD

He could have easily had a multiple point day. The line had their chances.

Despite the team only scoring two goals, its positive seeing more than one line creating chances.

Probably not. No team would purposely put DD as 2nd line center, too unproven. He wasn't slotted in our 2nd line this year either until he got a chance and stuck with it. So while I think most teams would not, in 1-2 years, if he keeps this pace(50 pts or greater) then yah, some would.

And now I know why I stopped visiting the other forum. They STILL want to use Gomez as the second line center over DD when he gets back.

To be fair, once Gomez's luck returns to the mean, then he will be the second line center that we all hope for.

Desharnais makes other players with him play better
Markov makes other players with him play better
Subban makes other players with him play better*

Put all three on the ice. We will see a Hockey Singularity occurring

*an observation I noticed when we had Nathan Beaulieu play in preseason. Subban was feeding him great passes and used his positionning with gusto, I believe Subban is a + factor to other player's offensive opportunities)

Cammy seemed more passionate that usual when they started putting him with DD. Maybe he's trying to send a message to his coach. lol

Cammy played hard the last few games and wasn't completely useless without the puck. I think his has more to do with him slowly getting over his nagging injury.

Agreed, Cammy's been a lot better. That line is just too small IMO. Explains why they have trouble producing.
