Shanny calls out Pax as "not intentionally lying" but...

Thought this was a fun read..

http://www.tsn.ca/nhl/story/?id=382027

Pax it seems is still complaining about the suspention. Then Said Shanny told him that it was as bad as the cooke-savard hit and was being compared to that incident. Shanny basically said he said that he WAS NOT comparing it to that hit.

Pax goes on to say ask my agent ask gauthier but funny thing is, in the article at least, they dont seem to be stepping forward to have pax's back.

This kinda gives me the impression that pax likes to embellious and stretch the truth given his actions and comments on the charas incident as well, id say pax has now labled himself as a fibber... just sayin... you dont call out the head of disipline of the NHL unless your damn sure of yourself...

I think it was actually most comparable to Paille's hit last year and Paille got 4 games so not sure what he's whining about. He got one fewer game.

All I do know is that Patches keeps this up, the next time he does something questionable on the ice, he'll get 5 games and there will be lots of whining and complaining up in Montreal for that.

I am so tired of hearing the notion that because it wasn't a blindside hit, that somehow Letang is responsible for protecting himself from what is still CLEARLY AN ILLEGAL HIT.

Yeah, I'd like to know how "He saw him coming and chose to take the hit." translates into "He saw him coming and chose to take a direct hit to the head!"

Sounds like a spoiled little kid stomping their foot and crying for being punished for doing something they should be punished for doing.

I should know I have two 5 year olds.

Grow up Max.

You guys need to leave poor Max Pac alone!! He is still recovering from the brain damage that Chara the goon gave him. It makes me sad to think about it tbh.

I hear the crown is looking into charges against Shanny for, heaven forbid, suspend a Canadien's player.

All joking aside, this guy is brutal. Take your medicine. It was a classic hit to the head which now is a suspendable offense. Whine on and Shanny will throw the book at you next time.

Funny when a Montreal player does something like this there are no 911 calls or threats from major sponsors.

Well he was "ZOMG!!!! Inches away from death!!" Afterall a cracked vertebrae one inch higher would mean . . . uh . . . a cracked vertebra which is no closer to death than one inch below.

Canadien players have been brain washed by management, the fans and media in Montreal to the point were they can't see their shortcomings. It's ingrained in them. Max basically called Shanny a liar!!
We are the Canadiens, we do no wrong!! It makes me puke.

I recall Lucic saying that it he got suspended for the Miller hit, he would not agree with it but he would accept the punishment

Hush your mouth! The Bruins never get suspended! They always get away with everything thanks to their MVP, Campbell.

I can understand immediately after the suspension, saying you disagree when the press asks. I kind of expect it. Still going on it about now is just whining.

Take your medicine like a big boy. Yeah, we know it tastes bad. Suck it up, buttercup.

This kid is an embarrassment to fellow New Englanders.

I don't know what's in the water up there in Montreal that makes every player that goes there turn into a complete and utter *****.

Shut up and take your medicine like a man.

If this kid spent half as much time playing hockey as he does whining, he might be a good player.

Hey they can do no wrong. They never could do wrong and they've mastered the art of taking whining to new levels. They are an embarrassment to the league and the game. I grew up in Newfoundland surrounded by Scab followers and I've despised them for 40 years. They're dirty, whiny, cheap-shot pukes. Talk about a culture of entitlement....man it's pervasive in that organization.

I hope someone takes this Patches punk on pretty soon and waxes his gums good. That said, anyone that challenges him needs to be careful. He's been drinking that Montreal water, so he's pretty brave these days.....as soon as you back is turned that is.

MaxPac is a ****** bag. He doesn't take any blame for the hit, puts all the blame on Letang. He thinks that since he almost got his back broke that he is an expert on what is and what's not suspendable. Shanny said that Max was all emotional during the phone call and didn't understand what Shanny was saying. What a moron. You can tell he is a ****** in real life.
