Bad: Really bad 1st Period, two fast goals against in the first minutes of the 2nd killed us

It is just one game, but they need to get their **** together. You can not come out flat against any team in the NHL. Just brutal but it is just one game, you can not win them all
If Mike Sauer is out any amount of time, this team is going to hit a rough patch. I have a feeling MDZ will not be playing in the next game either. His back is going to tighten up once he stops moving tonight.
Well you can't arrive at the arena halfway through the game and expect to win. Get 'em Thursday.

No. At least it shouldn't. It was a clean body-on-body check. Sauer had his head down. A little pissed off no one stood up for him. If it was anyone else on the ice and Sauer had been out there he would have at least stepped up and went for Phaneuf. Lack of balls.

MDZ inability to make a pass not one on a stick all night. Icing pucks with his head down, missing nets at key times he has to wake the **** up or get the **** out because the young excuse doesent cut it anymore, he has to be better. Saying that Richards was awful tonight, one shift did he show something other than that was good on faceoffs but has to be stronger in the corner and quicker at supporting players, hes often to far and not in position of support for a centerman.

It looks bad when were caught in our own end, too much standing around, Stall cannot come back sooner at this point. Too much time in our own end, give them credit they played good road game but even though we are winning were getting caught to long in our own end.

I agree they cannot afford to lose Sauer, really hope that wasn't a concussion. MDZ I think will be okay, if he hurt anything it was probably his shoulder and he was able to keep playing, he probably had the wind knocked out of him and just landed so awkwardly. Would be nice if we get some news on Sauer tonight, probably not though
The good: The above guys, the fight back, Gabby and the Richards line started to get it going late in the game. The boyle line was ok
The bad: The 2nd pairing, both guys had bad games. The start, don't know why they seem to be coming out flat lately, really need to tighten up. Dubi - what's happened to him?
The Redden - inability to finish, expecially MDZ and Cally how both had several chances. Play in the defensive zone, was sloppy all night
Overall, shame to lose, but once again this team shows they are never out of it which is a great sign. Need to work on getting pucks on net across the board, as well as the break-out pass.
Will be interesting to see how our D-men pull up
To me it looked like Phauef's shoulder directly hit Sauer in the jaw. I didn't have a problem with it personally, but it looked like a textbook "headshot".
