He just seems to shoot the puck everytime he gets it even though passing or cycling could have been better option.

Didn`t saw him shooting whenever he had the puck.

And actually, our passes were turned over ussually against Wild pressure. We weren`t fast enough.

Ryan looked decent with the Finns. Maybe time to try that to get him going.

My impression was that was exactly what he is supposed to be doing. Having him camped out there in front with the threat of the big shot causes the other team fits trying to cover him. Frees up space. He also makes the D play the puck faster due to his forechecking/hitting. (anyone notice that bear hug take down that he got luck with the no call last night?)

in the last 4 games the guy is +5. Last 2 games +3 with 2 assists. Getz, Perry, Ryan all - in the past 2 games. Koivu +2, Selanne +1. I'm not going to argue he is a lifer in the top 6, but the past few games he has played well.

wow, when i look at it he hasn't had a - in the last ten games, that's amazing given the teams record.

I dunno...maybe this team needs a trade too.

Where is Lydman? that dude on the ice ain't one...

Hiller... he isn't single handed winning us games. I'd like to see Tarkki...what can it hurt? the Crunch?

Frustrating times...

Hiller's not wrong. He omitted the part about how he can't control a rebound to save his life anymore, but he isn't wrong about his teammates. They're all pretty bad defensively now.

Also people are being too hard on Lydman. He's been playing pretty well lately IMO. Like Sbisa pointed out on the Johnson goal, Lydman forced Clutterbuck well away from the net. Clutterbuck was forced to make an awkward cross-body pass - it shouldn't have come anywhere near a Wild player. That's on Sbisa. I don't know why Sbisa is such a teflon character around here. He makes a crapton of mistakes, and now he's making more given more ice time.

Could also be because Parros is close to returning.

We could, if he clears. Then again, Winnipeg could do so before us, as they waived him earlier this season. If no other team puts in a claim and they do, they can assign him to the AHL - which I would guess will happen. Already happened to a couple guys this year, one of them the Yotes' MacLean.

That means he earns less on an AHL roster compared to an NHL roster, he'd still have to pass through waivers

What? Sbisa did exactly what you're supposed to do, tie up the man. It's not his fault it goes off the players skate. If it's on anyone, it's on Hiller for not covering the cross pass, but it was pretty far out. Just an unfortunate goal.

The other goals on the other had... way too many odd man rushes, way too many holes in the defence for their forwards to exploit and it's usually on our forwards, they need to do a much better job of clogging up the middle of the ice.

Didnt actually notice that and anyway thats not the worst thing to do either. Its how many goals are scored nowadays - just get the puck to the net.
I like how with his hiting and crashing the net, he buys more space for Finns.
I hope BB will play Belesky on 2nd line few more games and we will see.

Wouldn't mind seeing what he can on the top line over Ryan

Count me in.
Jacques has a nice record in Syracuse, plus this team needs size.

hope cogs is alright.. we cant really afford to lose him..
belesky imo needs to shoot better.. not more but better.. the shots he does take are awful ones usually into the shin guards of defenders and when he does get a good scoring chance i feel like he doesn't unleash his cannon.. hes been doing his job though which is get in on the forecheck and bang some bodies

i also wouldn't mind jacques goign up with getzy/perrs.. although i doubt we'll ever see that

Hiller calling out his teammates? LOL

Jonas, when you've won....

and...

...then you can run your mouth 'til your heart is content. Spend more time on your game, Swiss Miss, and less with your mask artist.
