He said in an interview with RDS. " We have the management team in place to win " !

He actually said " we are doing well " !! Of course the Bell is full.

What the *&@% did you think he was going to say?

"We're going to fire everyone as soon as I get around to finding decent replacements and since we are not in first place the season is an absolute disgrace! Price let in 3 goals last week! Trade everyone! And ignore all that so you can beat Columbus tomorrow."

For sure he will, doesn't want to fire people and have to pay others to replace them

Wonder if a loss to Columbus tonight will have him feeling the same way

The funniest thing about sport fans is that they put stock in what GMs/coaches/players say. That never made sense to me.

''Yes, I like being traded to Columbus. They have a great hockey tradition and, um, a good team?'''

''No, I will never fire Guy Carbonneau. He is my best move so far!!''

Considering we've been playing like the last month with 3 rookie defenseman in the lineup almost every night we are doing well considering our injury situation... if our powerplay wasn't such a joke we could've easily had 2-3 more wins.

We are missing NO forwards. And we are not scoring goals. Are you worried yet ?

We didn't have Pacioretty the last 3 games, Kostitsyn missed 10 games and we are missing Gomez and White so we are missing some forwards. Markov, Spacek and Campoli all will help with our transition game and Markov would definitely help increase our offense at 5 on 5 and especially the PP. Not saying I'm happy with this year so far but considering our defense right now I'll take being .500 until we can get some bodies back.

May as well tank this year. Over a 50% chance to make the playoffs next year.. Only competing with 6 teams instead of 14.

Well, I dunno about leaning on these two for an increase in offense, despite sort of expecting it from one of them.

Could be the kiss of death, but as was said, what else is Molson going to say? Things will be fine so long as the building's full.

You need to do more reasearch, we have played ONE game this year without missing any forwards. White has been out all year, Gomez and Cammy have been out twice. Pacioretty just missed 3 games. AK missed 10 games. Eller started the year on the shelf.

Goal scoring isn't just about forwards, if you are missing 3 regulars on defense it affects your offense as A-forwards have to play a more cautious style to help out the young d-men more B-a lot of offense at the NHL level comes from the defense, including a good PP.

Last time I checked, his post also mentioned missing a couple of defensemen due to injuries...

Please don't mess with people's long standing right to avoid discussing the weaknesses in the team (forwards, and more specifically the centre position).

90 percent of the talk is about the problems on defence, which is where about 10 percent of the problem lies.

Habs are headed for another unsuccessful season, some already want to chock it up to bad luck simply out of habit.

Molson was installed as President to keep an eye on the ownership group's investment. The investment is getting a return.

Sadly Molson probably won't feel pressure to make any changes until the situation is dire.
We are helpless and can only sit and watch.

When Gainey stepped down, Molson had his chance to clear house, but he picked PG as his GM. Now I'm not the biggest fan of PG, but since being GM of the Habs, he has done a decent job. I think he hired some really good guys on his staff, specially to the scouting staff, Jankowski being one of them. And technically he still hasn't even hired his own coach, JM was hired by Gainey. So while JM leash might not be long, PG IMO doesn't really have to worry.

Well lets see, i got my credit card out and became a supporter. So, i would say this give me just as much of a right to post here as you. Some might even say more.
Now, getting back to the team. Yeah, things aren't looking good, and probably won't get better with this management that we have in place. So in conclusion, people will have differing opinions than yours. Get over it.

Why things wont get better with this management?
what would be different with another management?

Wait, Campoli and Spacek are going to ignite our offense? How exactly? Campoli could help on the PP from time to time, but he's not going to improve the offense by that much. Spacek's best days are behind him, he's not generating anything from the blueline.
