Yes, you're right. Definitely the next Lindros. Let me tell you what, broken foot after blocking a shot = concussion. Just as likely for Schenn to have long term problems w/ the foot as Lindros did w/ the concussions.

Homer is so stupid. We need to get rid of this kid like ASAP. First the shoulder, then the foot, and now the foot is still bothering him after I'm sure he tried to push it back cause he's young and excited about being in the NHL. Dude is made of glass. Trade him for Turris.

EDIT: Actually since everyone in the league already knows he is injury prone, we might have to add to get Turris.

Or maybe something like Schenn + 1st for Hal Gill?

O yes, that's right. I saw highlights but forgot. TO be honest I did not watch a single Sabres game this season with one exception.

You mean Sabres are not going to trade for Shelley? Juuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuust kidding.

When was the last time Briere missed significant time due to injury? 3 years ago?

I think its a little early to call Schenn Injury prone? He broke his foot on a blocked shot in his first full NHL season. Just a bit premature I would say. And this "shoulder injury" is minor and he is hopeful for Thursday

Poor kid can't catch a break with the injury bug, I believe if we do trade him he'll get better and make us pay for trading him, and if we keep him he might wind up being more injury prone, it just feels that way, I like the kid and still think he has a decent upside but let's hope this is just a snag in the road with all the injurys now and he'll be good for the team for years to come

How can I argue with that? It's just pure logic.

It's not too early. He went through the same type of stuff in juniors. Shoulders especially.

Too bad, I was looking forward to seeing a game with all our forwards healthy. Zolnierczyk has been playing well though, so there is that. Buffalo can play a pretty fast game, hopefully Marshall and Bourdon can keep up with them.

Looks like there will be 12 rookies out there tonight, must be close to a record.

Bummer. I'd pay real money to watch Rinaldo get ahold of that guy.

A friend asked me today, which Flyer do I think is most likely to run at the goalie tonight.

My initial thought was Hartnell, but now that I think about it, with Carter & Richie going who is going ask Hartnell to get them a Miller?

In all seriousness though, hope Flyers can get through this game without picking up any more injuries. If they win even better. Just really want them to be in a position to beat the Pens tomorrow.

Unfortunately, it would end up badly for Rinaldo.

Mean: Once the Flyers get out to more than a two-goal lead, Vs. will probably spend more time talking about Crosby missing a game that hasn't been played yet than the actual game on the ice.

Thank God I read this post. I was about to buy some tickets so I could catch Crosby's first game against us.
