And if i was asked who the best pitcher in my travel league was, I wouldn't say my own guy, because I don't face him in game situations, i only face him in scrimmages.

Is it that hard to understand why players would list the toughest goalies as ones they play against?

Oh god it's so fun to watch devils fans get riled up. The fact of the matter is lunqvist has an insane record against Marty.

It might be his opinion, but IN MY OPINION, that's extremely petty, and I wouldnt expect anything less from him.

And to the guys trying to play like our guys don't think Henrik is among the leagues best, stop it. I love the "well they shoot on him in practice though!" line. Nice reach b

It's like a Defend Marty Fire Drill

Hey on the bright side Marty has his SV% up to 884, getting close to Wards 898

too bad the quality of a goaltender isn't only measured against just one team.

the rangers see lundqvist practice and play sometimes twice a day. you don't think they would be able to gauge if he was one of the top 3 goalies in the league?

You mean 2 guys who don't play in the league, two devils, and another guy who sees him once a season?

I read the article. Sounds like a guy who is trying to hold on to the fact that Santa Claus exists.

Interesting, I thought it was funny watching Ranger fans freaking out about someone`s opinion.

Let me sum it up (generalization). So what you`re saying is that his opinion is irrelevant because of his ego popping up and Lundqvist is top2 in the league regardless, what HFBoards fans think is somehow important (Miller, Ward) BUT what players think is not... Why? Well, because they doesn`t play against him. And you do? Now that`s interesting.

They watch the games just like you do. Even more, they analyze them with the coaching staff.

I was not trying anything, have no idea whatcha talkin` about Willis.

No you're right. They think he's ****. Some devils fan has cracked the case!

And the record matters when it's so embarrassingly lopsided that it's obvious he was being petty.

Feel free to debate. But using pointless and irrelevant youtube clips as some sort of consolidation of a point is pointless and bandwidth consuming. So dont bother with it.

It's weird how Devils fans are so obsessed with Henrik. Almost like they wish he played for them or something.

Have any of these Devils fans ever heard our players in interviews talk about Hank? They all marvel about him.

I'm pretty sure it's the complete opposite, the Ranger fans started ranting about him why Lundqvist wasn't chosen by Brodeur. Nice Try.

i never said that. and i doubt he cares about his record against lundqvist. just because lundqvist and his team have beaten brodeur and the devils doesn't mean lundqvist is a better goalie.

lundqvist is definitely better than brodeur now, and actually has been for probably 3 or 4 years now, i'm not trying to say that he's not. just when team a beats team b doesn't mean team a's goalie is better.

i'm sure brodeur cares more about these numbers: 3 cups to lundy's 0.

No way, teammates speak well of each other?

The fact is Brodeur said nothing negative against Lundqvist and yet some people here are acting like he did.

He did.

Though as in all cases it is open to interpretation.

The hell is going on here?

I'm the only poster on this board allowed to interact with both NYR and NJD fans.

Not sure if anything concussion related.

So according to Devils fans Fatso is terrible this year because of his bad defense...

So did he win those cups by himself?

Devils fans with their panties in a bunch.

So do you guys have an auto email that goes out when something Fatso/Devils related gets posted here?

all he said was that he's not a fan of his style of play. is that all that bad? he also called him weird, so, most likely because of the style he plays or the fact that lundqvist didn't look his way. not that big of a deal.

he hasn't been terrible this year. nobody ever said that. he hasn't been as good as he was in past years, but that is expected considering he is close to 40 years old.

Don't forget about when someone says the Devils are boring on the main boards.

And Stepan and McDonagh not mentioning Lundqvist means nothing. I wouldn't say that either if I was a professional player.

Some would say Brodeur isn't responsible for those cups since it is the team that wins them...

Give me a break dude, Lundqvist isn't even halfway through his career yet.

While those cups right now are 3-0 who knows what the future holds.

When lundqvist is 39, if he still has no cups then use that argument. Right now, it's irrelevent, considering Marty is essentially finished and lundqvist is hitting his prime.

I don't see how any Devils fan could argue this considering Hedberg's numbers blow Marty's away with the same team.

I would think its his knee. He and Kunitz collided in center ice.
