I've said it before Ruff's strategy once the Sabres have the lead is ridiculous, everyone tore me up for saying that. After watching these blown leads since the lockout, and I mean 2-4 goal leads, consistently it's disgusting to watch just awful. And Hecht needs to not be on the first line. He's the farthest thing from a first line center the Sabres have.
He's been our coach for what 26 years now and I don't think Buffalo has scored a single goal when teams lock down a 1-3-1 on him in all of those years.
Want to beat a Lindy Ruff team?
1) 1-3-1 them.
2) Pull your goalie every once in a while.
3) Hit one of his players from behind. His team will be too scared to get into scoring positions after that.
I give him until the end of the year. No playoffs or first round exit and I say he needs to go. I've always been a Ruff supporter but there's a 3-year plan in place and right now we don't even look close.

This. A hundred times, this. Please.

Reason: hit the wrong button
Yep, Pegula really is the problem by refusing to take off his stupid blue and gold garbage glasses, he needs to fire Ruff ASAP.But him and Ted Black the super president () are in love with Lindy and already said he has 3 years to make progress
So Ruff is going no where folks, enjoy our loser head coach No Cups with the best goalie ever AND the best team in the whole NHL from 05-07...ouch.
I'm getting close. The team not responding in the third period was awful. Continuing to place Grags in key situations has burned us more than once. Giving up leads so consistently is rapidly becoming unforgivable.
Anyone remember Pegula's comments when he said he called around the league to get people's opinion on Lindy Ruff and Pegula saying nobody had a bad thing to say about him? Sounds to me that maybe Pegula didn't know a whole lot about Lindy and wanted others opinions before he made any coaching decisions after he took over.
I wonder if Pegula and Black are now starting to form their own opinion after having first hand experience being with the team for a little bit.
Limit was reached and exceeded in the year to year and a half before Pegula bought the team. The decisions Lindy was making were so bad I honestly thought he was trying to get fired.
