So basically we need to stop Malkin and Neal, unleash the Rinaldo.

I am a little surprised I thought Malkin is the one who would be out. He took a pretty heavy shot.

Malkin is not out, I do not think.

In the Edmonton-Carolina game, MPS has his first goal of the season. Carolina really, really needs to start winning soon. Their season is pretty much over already.

In the Caps-Sens game Troy Brouwer had a Gordie Howe hattrick.

I think they took the goal away from MPS and gave it to belanger. That sucks for him, very talented player. Good win for the caps though... didnt win 3000 like the other guy but they won me 110 bucks tonight!

Sutton (Edmonton) just flattened Skinner, cutting across the offensive zone with the puck, with a completely clean hit; if anything, he slowed down. Gleason still jumped Sutton.

Sutton was named the game's 3rd star.

Not too many Carolina players in whom I'd have interest. Gleason? Meh. Larose would be my top want even though forward is not the Flyers' need; however, I wouldn't want to give anyone of worth up for him.

MPS is cursed (and plays like crap) this season, it appears.

Congrats on the win.

That was a great hit. Ridiculous that he had to fight afterwards.

At the moment, we don't have room to take on any players without giving back the same salary (more or less), I believe. If we don't land Suter in the summer I wouldn't mind looking at Gleason (this is assuming Carle leaves of course), depending on what his demands will be.

I completely agree; that's why I wasn't making any trade offers. Gleason looks decent enough, but he is no offensive powerhouse to replace Carle (pause for Carle jokes).

The great Dougie Hamilton has signed an ELC for the Boston Bruins.
