I think we will get heavily out worked this game. I can't say if we will win or lose, just the way the team has been up and down this year. Just don't know which team you will get on a nightly basis. Come out flying or half hearted effort.
I would love a win and get us above .500 but I won't deny it's going to be a hard game.
Higgins and Lapierre two guys drafted by the Habs, one lost in the Gomez trade (), one thrown away because Martin couldn't stand him ()
Miss them both....
Lapierre requested a trade. Not much you can do about a guy who's a fourth liner and wants third line minutes, only to get traded twice to teams that gave him fourth line minutes. Would be nice to have him back on the fourth line though. Provides a bit more energy than Nokelainen.

Would you really have wanted to go through the valley of Higgins' career after he left Montreal before he found his way to Vancouver. Both Calgary and New York gave him up for basically nothing because he was brutal.
I know the Habs usually get up for games against good opposition, but I really see them losing against Vancouver. My question to you guys is, what do you think happens if they lose by a big margin? It could get ugly very early if the Canucks were to score a couple of goals.
But hey, blame the injuries following every loss, rewind the tape. Habs management are just buying time, they know we are in a weak conference and if we can just stay close to 8th, we might be able to make it when we get Markov back. I remember clearly Gauthier saying something along the lines that he wants Habs to be in top third of the league. I don't know what he means by that, does he plan on doing something about it or keep hoping they will somehow play above their abilities?
When you have Gionta, Cammy, Gomez, Spacek and Markov eating up around 27 million in cap space, how do you magically make this team a contender? Oh ya, its true, hope Price keeps making miracles.
We usually bounce back pretty well. After that Colombus no-show, I'd expect a good game by the Habs. In the back of my mind, I'm thinking : but what if we get blowned up and lose the game 8-1, will Molson fire Gauthier or Martin or both ?
