Maybe Quebec ? Maybe Brassard goes the other way, I think if the Sea Dogs make a move it will be to add depth, a goalie or a D. And adding a goalie like Marcoux is enough to put them over them top, same thing if they add a D like Gauthier Leduc or Ouellet.

Duffy will bring back alot, maybe Shawi will push for him.

I can see adding Samuel Hodhod to the list. Also it would be interesting if Matteau is moved as well.

Okay so when healthy Saint John will have the best offense, now their D and goaltending are suspect.

I think Shawi is well rounded but lack that over the top player,

I don't know much about Victo.

So we know that Gormley ain't going to SJ, we also know that Ouellet won't be traded.

If Gormley goes to Shawi, Saint John has to trade for one of Ellis, Gauthier-Leduc or Narbonne.

Now, Bissonette and Obrien are going to be traded, likely to Shawi, Quebec or Victo.

Saint John may go with a cheaper option like Hodhod or Tanguy, which would raise the price of Duffy, Obrien and Bissonette.

If Saint John add, a top foward, goalie or D, they will repeat, considering how deep they are upfront I think they'll add atleast an experienced back up, and a depth D.

Who are the goalies that are on the market ?

I think Jon Drouin will be traded to blainville ive said it before, he played minor hockey around that area.

Any done deals ? That aren't official ?

Is there a chance Bathurst holds onto O'Brien and/or Bissonette since there's a good chance they could both be back in the league as overagers next year?

With Drouin going up, wonder if Etechagry or Walsh might come down from Quebec? Any possibiltiy Remparts fans? Don't think the Lions management would just let they're winning season slip up like that?

My fearless prediction at Christmas time: Drouin to Blainville-Boisbriand for Ouellet or Narbonne

I had a feeling he would cave, and to the OP.

The lions won't win the Telus cup now but they will still probably repeat, and maybe they pull something, who knows.

Well on 1 hand you said Hali should trade Drouin to BLB..and on the other you said you had a feeling he'd cave...

Those are kind of contradictory statements...

With the added offense this is likely the end of Desjardins and maybe Grenier.

Moose could target Hobbs for this year.

Yes your right.

What I mean was, I never bought the whole Dubuque thing, I knew he was going to the Q. For awhile I thought that maybe he was going to only play in Quebec, or close to home in Blainville.

I'm pretty sure he grew up around there. Which is why I suggested his rights might have gotten moved. I'm not surprised by this. He looked bored during the games, some nights he was there, others he wasn't.

Would Halifax trade him for Ouellete ? I doubt it.

Oh ok, I gotcha...ya he didnt have the grades for NCAA and I dont think he ever really wanted to go that route...just a bargaining ploy.

Im sure Drouin has some sort of No Trade Agreement with Halifax...plus I dont think they want to trade him considering all they did (and paid) to get him to report.
