Excellent game! This team is a blast to watch. Bryz let in a couple softies but played well in the 3rd. I don't think that tying goal was his fault, that was a perfect shot and Stafford wasn't defended.

On another note, I'm extremely impressed by Zach Kassian. I want one of my own, Daddy!

Sooo, there's some tl;dr in this thread at 30 pages...but I'm assuming that people are complaining about Bryz's 4 goals against. I saw a few posts.

I wouldn't want to play goalie for any of you.

I swear that vanek's goal was tipped by roy. It bounced very high up on the blocker and then off the pad and into the net. That goal was dicey. The other 3....

Watch goal 2, it changes direction out of bourdon. Its fluttering all over the place after getting through him.

Hockey is so fast...a tip completely changes the play. Even Jagr's goal, thats so world class to be able to change the angle with people in your face...its a brutally hard play to make from a goaltender.

I felt that Bob got a raw deal last year, but he still gets beat pretty bad high. Bryz is much better than him. With this piz poor defensive positioning you are going to see BAD results that no goaltender is going to do well with.

Voracek is like Z with work ethic. I liked a lot of his play tonight. His only black mark of the night was being the closest bystander to the game-tying goal.

Yea I knew someone was gonna mention that after I posted my post haha. Costly mistake but he did play a great game. He uses his body so well it's unreal. He had that one shift in the O zone that he kept the puck down there for atleast 20 seconds, that was an awesome shift.

What's amazing is that Giroux already took off before Gragnani decided to pass

Yea, that reminded me of Richards... he always seemed to know when the pass was coming to intercept it.

We need to collect some of Giroux's DNA and clone him.
Since he is our property, wouldn't his clones be our property?

In the individual stats, it still says he's 3rd in points.

What can I say but one hell of aday!!!!!!!!!!!!!

First off, Air Canada finally has a seat sale whereby myself and my lady are noe going to Calgary for Christmas to spoil my neice rotten.

Lyon wins, then Man U **** the bag, City wins and Moscow CSKA beat Inter making me a $3068 winner on a parlay bet.

My Buddy sees my post on hfboards this afternoon, makes me the deal that if I pay for the tickets on stubhub, he'll do the driving down to Buffalo.

I score wicked seats for $215 total, I find the SACD of Beggar's Banquet for $5 in Buffalo

Giroux plays like a demon, I drink like a fish (and not get arrested) and we win in OT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Sweet Jesus, what a day!
That those two teams didn't make it through, coupled with a Flyers win made my day great yesterday as well. I didn't get drunk though. And I didn't win 3000$. And I wasn't in the stadium to see the Flyers win...

Damn you!!!

No, seriously, Congrats on the win, the Christmas trip and the tickets... *mumblemumble you mumblemumble*

Didn't you forget about the coach, (saint) Peter Laviolette?

Well, coburn dropped the puck once and then it was captured by the Sabres by the net and they were able to score. I blame Coburn for that particular goal that was scored

Fortunately, there are several "John" roles to go around.

The venerated Saint of Coca-Cola? The Vatican is still examining his "exorcism" of Ville Leino. We'll also see on 24/7 his speaking in tongues.
