We always lose when the other team has key players out.
When Mitchell comes back, maybe it's time to look at Greene being a healthy scratch. With offense being such an issue, and Voynov playing so well, maybe four puck movers and two "safe" guys will be a consideration.

Hhaha. Who do you plan on actually hitting people then? Greene is a tough player to play against. You want 4 puck movers...no way buddy. That top 6 you listed is SOFT. Greene is the toughest D man in the entire Kings organization now with Teubert gone. Not a game goes by he doesn't level some dude from the other team, they hate playing against him.
Also, change the line-up at the top of the thread, Lewis is in for Westgarth and possibly Richardson for Williams

I actually like Greene alot and see his value as the crease clearing guy he is. Was just an idea. I hate the idea of Voynov getting sent down, and like Martinez alot, so I don't know the solution.

The solution is to deal Martinez or send Voynov back down...for now. And even next year that is still the option because the Kings like having 3 stay at home guys and 3 puck movers, so even if the Kings don't re-sign Willie Mitchell, I'm sure they will add another UFA tough, stay at home D-man especially since after next year Scud's will be a UFA. So Greene is the only stay at home guy until contract past 2013.

Greene's to physical to be out. If you really want to dress four puckmovers, I'd scratch Scuds, and frankly that'd be kinda dumb to do. VOynov will likely go down until A-Mart is dealt or another injury occurs.

As for the game tonight, after all the talk about the system, players needing to score, scoring chances, etc. We better score. We either score 4-5 goals or we get held to one goals or shutout. My money is on the latter.
Rookie goalie making first career start, banged up blueline, 2 top offensive threats and most physical player out...Kings should win this one, but they always seem to lose when this happens...
