Any chance the Sharks deal Nabakov?

He is a UFA and has a good crop behind him...any chance the Sharks look for a return on him before potentially losing him as a FA? SJ needs defense and a few teams are looking for a goaltending upgrade.

Three teams off the top of my head and what they may offer.

VAN - Jovo for Nabakov straight up

COL - Either a Skrastins or Vaanenn centered deal with Boughner or Sauer and a 3rd round pick or Rob Blake for Nabakov

Philly - Kim Johnnsson for Nabakov

It's something the Sharks should look into.

I agree 100%
I hope they can deal for Johnsson from Philly since I don't believe their goalies are as good as him plus they have a better d.

Nabokov spell it right.
No thanks, not for Johnsson. Keep Nabokov. We are not pulling Boston trade here.

Willing to reconsider if Steve Bernier and Milan Michalek coming our way and Esche is going with Johnsson.

Nabokov > Esche
Bernier or Michalek >> Johnsson

No chance. Hopefully there is no interest in Johnsson if Nabokov is involved. I wouldn't trade Nabokov to the Flyers and give them the one thing they are missing unless Forsberg was in the deal.

it'll be a while before the sharks move nabby, but it could happen. if nabokov doesn't improve his play in the next few weeks, or one of the other goalies outperforms him and proves they can be a regular nhl #1, then i think nabokov is gone for sure. they won't be looking for a goalie in return, they'll want to give the guys in the system a chance.

True, it was a counteroffer Nabokov for Johnsson.

That thing isn't Nabokov, trust me. Specially with this year record. Enjoy.
