Holy crap, why the hell are we favorites tonight in Vegas? Do the Wild have key injuries?

I am not messing with the juju. But I can show you a pic of a past torta.

That is a torta ahogada. And it rocks the casbah. (Even Sharif would like it)

I really hate for a loss but if that gets us closer to Murray being fired, so be it. I'm so sick of this joker that he makes me root for a Kings loss. Thanks Dean

Latendresse, Setoguchi and both goalies injured. Backstrom might still play though, if Hackett doesn't get another go. Zidlicky also out, but he's cr*p anyways

Yeah, Backstrom will most likely play tonight even if he isn't 100%..

I'd start Hackett if I were Yeo. Oh well.

It would be an upset if the Kings win.

Hackett shut out the Sharks in his first career start, so odds are if he starts the kings wont score the magical 3

We always lose when the other team has key players out.

When Mitchell comes back, maybe it's time to look at Greene being a healthy scratch. With offense being such an issue, and Voynov playing so well, maybe four puck movers and two "safe" guys will be a consideration.

DD-JJ
Mitchell-Voynov
Scuderi-Martinez

Hhaha. Who do you plan on actually hitting people then? Greene is a tough player to play against. You want 4 puck movers...no way buddy. That top 6 you listed is SOFT. Greene is the toughest D man in the entire Kings organization now with Teubert gone. Not a game goes by he doesn't level some dude from the other team, they hate playing against him.

Also, change the line-up at the top of the thread, Lewis is in for Westgarth and possibly Richardson for Williams

I actually like Greene alot and see his value as the crease clearing guy he is. Was just an idea. I hate the idea of Voynov getting sent down, and like Martinez alot, so I don't know the solution.

The solution is to deal Martinez or send Voynov back down...for now. And even next year that is still the option because the Kings like having 3 stay at home guys and 3 puck movers, so even if the Kings don't re-sign Willie Mitchell, I'm sure they will add another UFA tough, stay at home D-man especially since after next year Scud's will be a UFA. So Greene is the only stay at home guy until contract past 2013.

Kings will have 30+ shots but only get one goal past him.

Greene's to physical to be out. If you really want to dress four puckmovers, I'd scratch Scuds, and frankly that'd be kinda dumb to do. VOynov will likely go down until A-Mart is dealt or another injury occurs.

Hackett's a really good prospect. Wild are as stack as we are in net. Maybe moreso.

Btw Puck, great DL quote. Literally made me LOL.

As for the game tonight, after all the talk about the system, players needing to score, scoring chances, etc. We better score. We either score 4-5 goals or we get held to one goals or shutout. My money is on the latter.

3-1 Wild. Another nail in TM's grave.

Rookie goalie making first career start, banged up blueline, 2 top offensive threats and most physical player out...Kings should win this one, but they always seem to lose when this happens...

To be honest, I can't see the Wild winning this one.

Here's the lines:

Taffe - Koivu - Heatley

Bouchard - Cullen - Wellman

Johnson - Brodziak - Powe

Gillies - Almond - Staubitz

Schultz - Lundin

Spurgeon - Scandella

Stoner - Zanon

Hackett
Backstrom

Prosser might be the 7th defenseman if Gillies is healthy scratch.
