Sad but true, this is a perfect post.

Avery is about to get replaced in the lineup by Mike Rupp.

Gaborik ONE shot on goal tonight.

Unacceptable.

He is saying Avery got 4 mins of ice-time, and EC was getting more than that. No point of playing Avery if he will only get 4 mins and EC will get 8-9 mins and be effective in the SO.

I was aware he didn't. Just didn't understand Mitchell.

He's just saying that when Christensen played he was given 8 or 9 minutes each night.

Not blaming Torts at all for the loss. Just would like to see Avery get more than 4 minutes.

Maybe Mitchell is just better than everyone else in shootouts?

Oh look, Sauers out and more blown leads.

Why do we all of the sudden suck in the Shootout? It doesn't matter, because their shouldn't have been a shootout. Wouldn't surprise me to see them struggle again like they did in the first couple of games with Sauer out.

Guess we are the Caps of 24/7 this year.

By no fault of his own, Avery's been good given his ice time.

Boyle should be the one to GTFO

Staal plays goalie too? Because as far as I can see Lundqvist blew it by going down on his knees early and giving up a terrible goal. Also, the great power play let down big time, great job keeping Tampa in it guys. Once it got to the shoot out any idiot could have seen them lose that one with our **** collection of talent

No, I've never bashed Avery. I've bashed his cheering squad who thinks he's the messiah.

Ridiculous how you guys can't admit he's been subpar for the past 5 games.

What am I wrong about? A contender wins this game easily. The Islanders destroyed them.

Well, Gaborik is totally useless in the shootout, so I don't understand why he is put there. We must have someone better.

Who cares how many shots he gets set up for. The guy is a stiff. And I mean that literally. Someone find his oil can because without it Gaborik aka Tinman has zero dexterity. Zilch. Evidence is all over the game tape. Highlighted in the shootout.

I thought Hagelin would have been a good SO option.

I still wanna see Zucc back up.

Blitz
honestly Avery hasn't played at all except for that second period in the games vs the Leafs. What do you expect from him when he gets no ice time? I'm not in his cheering squad, but I'd rather see him get some more ice time as opposed to Mitchell and Boyle who were invisible all night
