**** this **** and everything that has to do with it.

Lundqvist needs to make that save on the 3rd line scrub on BOTH opportunities. The team needs to finish their chances (cough OT cough).

That steam being blown off, however, the Rangers again could have easily won this game as they played very well for the most part.

I guess the Pens aren't contenders because they lost to Montreal earlier in the season. A contender wins that game. Your logic baffles me every time.

Yes McD did blow this game for us. But come one he had A bad game. When he plays great, which is 95% of the time then everyone loves him. god this board is bi polar, heck even I am.

The best option was Anisimov.

You're right, they could've, and that's the disappointing part. They were surely the better team, but they just didn't do enough to get the job done. They were sloppy at the wrong times and Tampa capitalized -- have to give the Bolts some credit for that.

Why isn't NONE an option in the poll?

Looks the the traditional December collapse is on track again. Expect the Rangers to be a playoff bubble team by New Year's

The Good: Callahan
The Bad: Gaborik, Richards, Stepan, Anisimov, Mitchell, Boyle, Woywitka, Stralman, Fedotenko,
The Redden: McDonagh, Our Genius Coaches

It's just a matter of time before Girardi and MdDonagh collapse completely from the ice time this team needs them to play. Looks like McD is already starting to break down.

At least it wasn't Gilroy. I would have broke my television if he scored.

Yeah I evaluated Jagr's skills and he sucked in the shootout. It's called "some guy are good at it, some aren't." Mitchell, for instance, was great in the AHL at the SO and 4-6 in bis NHL career. Gaborik has a nasty shot but blows. You gotta judge based on performance.

I'm fine with letting Stepan got more opportunities, but I don't see how he's "the best option" when he has yet to score in the SO.

This helps sum it up. Wasn't meaning to attack you Blitz.

Macdonagh needed to force Moore outside and Henrik should have made the save. Deflection or not he was in a bad stance. Gotta make that save with under 2 mins. December IMO has always been the month he loses the Vezina. He was battling all night again.

TB was hungrier and it showed. They deserved it.

McDonagh was awful.

Rest of the team was pretty good imo.

If McD doesnt turn that over the Rangers win this game 3-0 or 3-1.

Guess we are the Caps of 24/7 this year.
The Rangers' 3 best shootout specialists are out.

Although I don't agree with MSG that Gaborik is bad. He has been one of our best this year, I do agree that he is stiff. For a guy who is so fast, he does look VERY stiff sometimes.

I don't see the problem with Mitchell in the shootout. He he's got a decent track record, came close to scoring, and I know it's one of those either-you-do-or-you-don't moments, but the selection of Mitchell in the SO is surely not what lost this game.

Torts **** on Avery again. I don't know why either, not like he's played bad the past couple of weeks. He wasn't too good tonight but what did he play, 4 or 5 minutes? Hard to get on him with that little ice time.
