those blaming Marting must really not be watching the game...the Habs can't put teams away because their PP is PUTRID!
They GAVE up a shorthanded goal AGAIN tonight, they needed to get another goal on the PP, it would of buried the canucks, but they can't get anything going
Habs have lost at least 6 games by my count as a direct result of their anemic PP.
A coach that has THE SYSTEM. A coach who focuses way more, in games AND in practices on defensive coverage and defensive abilities HAS to find ways to protect a 3-0 lead EVEN with no PP goals. Yes, scoring on the PP would most definately help. But you think that the saviour that was Martin should be able to ovecome that. Yet, if not, what's the problem? A bad powerplay system by Martin and Co? Or are our players just.....not good enough?
Why is nobody saying what's need to be said... Eller is really not that good... He can't produce he makes mistakes he waits to long to pass the puck and he can't see the play...
He is a third line or fourth line center and not more... His only asset that makes everybody around here like him is that he is big...
I can't recall Desharnais losing a game for the team like Eller did tonight and with less ice time nonetheless
Eller's the best stick handler on the team. He should've been in Hamilton last season. You already giving up on him? I'm curious if you thought Pacioretty would be a third liner at best too. Burrows dove on that call btw.
OMG seriously? Who's the freaken who puts up the strategy for the PP? Who is the freaken coach? You know call a time out at 3-2 DO SOMETHING DAMN IT!
1 thing that i dont understand, WHY THE ******** AK WAS BENCHED ON OT AND SO? WHY? WHY? WHY? Can someone tell me why the player who was the most dangerous on the offensif zone was sitting on the bench, when a softie like Cammy gets to play on OT and SO?
We all know that AK has WAY MORE SKILLED HANDS THAN CAMMY. WHY DONT WE USE IT????? JEEEZ
Ok...if that's the case, can you tell me what it is about the Habs PP strategy that isn't working?
Give me a break, blaming the coach is just a cop out for fans who have no other way to explain what's happening on the ice.
Habs PP struggles has nothing to do with tactics, there's not 100 ways to run an effective PP...the Habs PP is struggling because of 2 reasons
1. Execution
2. Personnel (lack of a PP QB)
Unless the Habs start scoring alot more more goals, they are going to continue to give up leads, or lose/win by a goal
I'm getting sick of the Markov ****. He was supposed to be ready at the beginning of the season. I believe it is time to move on. Anyone that thinks Markovs return after not playing for around 2 years will be the complete fix, needs to have their head checked. And thats a BIG if if he comes back ever.
Anyone who counts anyone out before seeing what he can do when he returns are the ones that need to get their head checked.

eller man he is challenged offensivly- pacs would get chances and goalie would make the big save
not the case for ewller- you just know when he is on a rush and looks
like something could happen - he is going to scew it up
I'm not really that disappointed. Canucks are a top tier team in the league. The Habs are a bottom tier team with a patchwork defense. I'm not sure what people expected here. Yes, the Nucks spotted the Habs a 3-0 lead. But eventually, the cream rises to the top. Nucks are hot, Habs are not. It is what it is. I don't think people understand just how poor this team is. Take away any team's 3 top 5 dmen and see how they do.
