Sorry hab fans. I'm really happy with the win for my team but from this day forward I am rooting for you guys to win and make the playoffs. Make the playoffs and beat the bruins please. MY 2nd favorite team.. the Montreal Canadiens.
The Habs desperately need a PP QB, Subban is NOT PP QB, he's a shooter...Josh Gorges on the PP makes even less sense than having Darche on their.
I'm praying Campoli can bring some semblance of creativity on the point during the PP...because they can't afford to give up too many more games because they can't put teams away.
Wrong again. Sorry, but having 5 skaters in the same damned positions and standing around is not an execution problem. It is a tactical problem.
Did you happen to see the difference between the last Canucks PP when players were moving with the puck and without the puck and our sad 4 power plays when our guys are simply passing the puck to virtually stationary players?
The point is not the problem. Being static on the point is. That is a coaching problem, not an execution problem. The sooner Molson figures that out, the better.
But.........many many beers were sold tonight to drown the pain.
In a nut shell, Martin said Habs are going through growing pains and it's not time to press the panic button. He said, growing pains come when you have young players.
Said effort was there, PP was one fo the reasons we lost.
Jacqula positioning himself as the developer of young talent and coach of the future. big ears is re-branding himself mid presser
Well Jacques Martin just said it. Going through growing pains because we have young players. So vets are fine on this team. Everything is perfect. Just a matter of years now.
Oh, thank god JM's there to clear everything up. If he says everything's fine and perfect then it must. I'll sleep so well tonight know that JM has everything under control.
Martin in press conference using the word growing pain to talk about the loosing streak, saying they're loosing because of the inexperienced players (the kids). WTF. What about the Vets who are paid top money to perform and who demand respect from the rookies.
wow. the habs have one of the highest payrolls in the league and Martin is talking like this team is like the Oilers.
Realistically speaking, its the youth carrying this team.
Subban is logging minutes like crazy.
Pacioretty Montreals best offensive weapon.
Desharnais is producing.
Emelin is turning into a rock.
Price has been Price.
Its the vets like Cammalleri, Gomez, Gionta, Gill who are laying turds all over the ice.
I'm not really that disappointed. Canucks are a top tier team in the league. The Habs are a bottom tier team with a patchwork defense. I'm not sure what people expected here. Yes, the Nucks spotted the Habs a 3-0 lead. But eventually, the cream rises to the top. Nucks are hot, Habs are not. It is what it is. I don't think people understand just how poor this team is. Take away any team's 3 top 5 dmen and see how they do.

i don't even understand wtf he said beyond muttering that eller/moen and kostitsyn had a good game
This is why I find it funny that we require a coach who speaks French.
I don't recall a coach who spoke good French.
Carbo was the closest to speak intelligently in French.
Demers , Julien, Martin, Therrien.....all of them spoke French like morons.

EXCLUSIF TVA ... Bell s'apprêterait à acheter les Maple Leafs. Que fera-t-elle de ses parts avec le Canadien?? Réponse TVA Sports 23h.
They tried calling in to make an offer, but the line was down.
I cant speak for all Habs fans but what I expected was A) Don't lose momentum on the PP by giving up short handed goals B) Be able to close out a 3rd period in the lead C) Score a bloody goal in the shootout.
OK. But lets be real, did anyone expect this game to be close? Canucks are a FAR superior team than the Habs (it's not even close). Habs hung in there. Yes, they made mistakes, but that's what a mediocre team with injuries up the wazoo does. The team isn't that good, and on top of that they have a bunch of injuries.
What player is different this year from last years team on the powerplay Markov? Or wait maybe Montreal needs a real coach lets see K Muller maybe hmmm.
Do you watch the Habs?
What player is different? James Wisniewski, that's who...
And i'm not saying the Habs should of re-signed him (I wouldnt have at that money) but the habs PP has always been dangerous because they've always had a PP QB (Markov or Wiz) and a shooter (Subban, Streit, Souray, Bergeron, Schneider).
Right now, they have some shooters...but no QB, no one has vision or creativity from the point.
It's easy to come in here and talk about the game after a win but win or lose I was going to share some thoughts about your team.
1. Gomez, he's really bad, I didn't notice him ALL game.
2. Carey Price, is a star goalie. I hope he resigns in Montreal long term.
3. PK Subban, I've been in impressed with him in the past but that was for his offense but WOW he held the Sedin's in check (litterally on his interference call). Usually when the Sedin's are paired against a offensive top pairing guy they just eat them alive but Subban really did well. Also Gorges needs to be resigned, or else we HAVE to sign this guy.
4. Eller, he's an amazingly smart player and I can tell he's almost the "frustrating he doesn't produce more" type (like Hemsky) but he really is a good defensive player. Impressive.
5. Looking forward to the march 10 rematch in our barn. May we both ****kick the Bruins from now until then.

he couldn't complete a full sentence. i think he realized we've played almost half the season lol
- speacek!! LOL campoli who playes all of 10 minutes as a hab? LOL
Yemelin is better than either one- same with subban when he gets out of his funk- denis played well tonight- i say and will say over and over its not the D crew that is responsible for the record- eller doesnt take the stupid penalty tomight -HABs probabl;y win
dont you remeber the D lasts eason? it was worse than this younger edition

Wow...you seriously going to try to make me believe that Martin is asking his players to stand around static on the ice during a PP?
