reading your guys' GDT is hilarious. It's identical to ours. Especially when a shootout is coming.

I believe the Canucks are stastically the worst team in the league in the Shootout since it was added.

There was some terrible calls on both sides tonight and some diving as well.

The call on Burrows was definately a penalty but he sold it too.

Neither.

That is like asking if you would rather have your leg amputated or your arm.

I do not know what to make of this team but I do not like the mediocrity that I am seeing. We all know the PP is dreadful and cannot do anything good and we do not have the offensive firepower to compete. I think there are a multitude of reasons we are losing, from the players we have on the ice (vets, aside from Cole, doing next to nothing) and a management team that has not done anything to address the needs of this team.

Incorrect. It's the Ottawa Senators, unfortunately.

In a professional league you should not blow 3 goal leads. Period.

I feel the ship is going down.. going down.

Wah?

Montreal and Boston went 7 games last year... ?

Montreal lost in OT... heck they technically got further than we did against Boston...

Exactly. If I recall correctly, Habs fans were the 1/28 fanbases that wasn't cheering against us in the finals.

I have to believe it's a combination of injury/frustration more than lack of commitment/"drive". The latter simply isn't in his personality, and the former tends to be more glaringly obvious with smaller players anyway (and seems to come "from nowhere" if you haven't seen enough examples of players who are protecting injuries in your time), and thus seems more likely to me. We'll likely never get the straight up juice, and will have to feed on myriad sources of speculation, but I give a guy like Cammy the benefit of the doubt (my opinions voiced regarding size<->durability, etc notwithstanding).

soft in the head is being kind.

The game was a prime example of what is so frustrating. Gives up a couple bad goals then plays solid the rest of the way.

Agreed, people need to relax. I don't think I saw one person say anything about the Canucks playing well.

Habs have lost at least 6 games by my count as a direct result of their anemic PP.
I don't know, they were lucky, very lucky to leave the first period up by 2. Price was the only reason we ever had a 3 goal lead.

I think our relationship towards our coach is similar. A majority of Canucks fans including myself wanted and still want Alain Vigneault fired. From an outside perspective the guy is a good coach, a jack adams winner and nominee. Oh wait, no, because he's the head coach for the Canucks he's more whinier Bruce Boudreau. Anyways, I've always been impressed with Jacuqes Martin because of your teams playoff run in the last two years. He's made some strange moves but it seems to work. A lot of people would say you guys were outplayed in those series but I never saw it that way, it looked like the Caps, Pens, and Bruins were frustrated and lost

anyways my perspective, season isn't over for you guys

Holy balls Luongo was within an inch from giving me four simultaneous heart attacks...

Well Habs, you guys put up a great fight. Next time we meet I hope our orca boys wake up earlier...falling behind then trying to chase down a victory is WAY too painful...

Good game, good game, fellow Vancouverites. Good to see some positive, friendly vibes being exchanged between two fanbases. That's the spirit! We're getting along like G's in da hood.
