Please tell me Kaberle is on a one year deal.
He's finished. He couldn't do anything for the Bruins and is probably the most hated player on a terrible team, why would we possibly think that's a good move?
At least Spacek can defend!

Consider me on the fire Gauthier bandwagon then. This was an awful, awful move.

Have no idea what's going on in Gauthier's head.
There goes next year's cap relief.

Habs obviously see what is apparent to anyone watching the Habs play this year...they need a PP QB
Kaberle's contract is a tough one to swallow though and i'm not sure he's much of a PP QB anymore, but I get why this did this.

Coming from a Leaf fan....if he puts it together, he can be a very nice offensive weapon. You guys probably already know he's soft as baby poo and isn't good defensively (although with a good pairing he could be ok). Hopefully he turns things around for you guys.
From this point of view, I think this is a very bad trade for the Habs considering he's locked up for another 2 years after this one at a hefty price.

I am speechless.... But Gauthier just pushed the panic button with our dreadful PP.
Does it mean Markov won't be back at all this season ?

Hilarious how badly Kaberle's value has plummeted.
This is a move by a GM trying to save a season.
4.25 next 2 years, ugh. This softy better be ****ing worth it.
At least the softness of Kaberle cancels the softness of Spacek.

This is why I said yesterday that a panic move is never good. People has to be careful when the ask for a change…..And especially with this GREAT management.

Kaberle was good at one point, not now.
Unless he miraculously returns to his former form, I'm gonna be upset with this. At least he's a good whipping boy

For the love of ****... The best part of Spacek's deal was that it was up at the end of the season. Now we have Tomas ****ing Kaberle at a higher cap hit for two more years after this one.
This is definitely a panic move.

Well at least our secoud rounder is now safe....
He still had 38 pts in 58 games with the leafs last year, He probably fit better here than he did with the bruins
But that contract ...
