Would be quite a feat, given that it sounds like Reimer is starting. But against the Caps I'll believe anything.

Reimer starts, but not in net. He gets all 7 goals.

After a solid effort against Ottawa I was looking forward to more of the same tonight leading to a win. Then I read this quote from DFH on the Post Caps site:

“Roman’s a veteran; he’s been around a long time and we need him back in there,” Hunter said. “He moves the puck, passes really well. We need him there to block shots. He’s one of the best shot-blockers, so he should give us a lift tonight.”

Based on the highlighted bit, 5-2 Leafs

This is a game where I wish we had vintage Simon, Hunter, Tinordi, Holt, May, Stevens, Berube, Peat, Sheehy, and Kaminski in the lineup. If we can't score might as well beat the **** out of them. Should be a closer one since it is at home, but here's to hoping we give Leaf fans something to complain about.

Semin has had 11 games this season with his stick penalties and no points. He should be gone by a game or two if he doesn't contribute anything.

Looks like we're going 4 solid-scoring lines. I like it.

If the Caps play with the same intensity they did the last game they will wax the leafs. Here's hoping that they do.

Solid play by the Caps last game and I am really encouraged by what I saw from OV as well. Here's to hoping that can continue to improve.

God damnit. Has he seen Hamrlik play this year?

Hopefully we keep the intensity we played with in Ottawa the other night. Hopefully they keep the big three together and Ovi keeps going hard to the net.

I swear if I see Carlson and Alzner are split, I'm not gonna watch cause I have no idea who is coming up with these line combinations.

I swear the Capitals are the only team that will split their 2 best defense man that have been together through out their professional career and put them with guys that have miscues all the time against top lines. Defenseman aren't meant to be depth pairings, put your 2 best together and keep it like that, learn from the Red Wings, they weren't **** without Lidstrom-Rafalski together last year.

I read that as Alzner and Green should be tried together.
