I was much less furious when I watched the replay and saw that the last-second shortie was a 4-on-4 with the goalie pulled. Reading that on the box score filled me with SO MUCH RAGE-A-HOL.

That's how we use him effectively. Not by letting him go 1 on 4. He shouldn't be the one carrying the puck in.
Well Kovy was the one that made the killer breakout pass to Tallinder. That's why he was late. It was a smart play by Tallinder to step up and get in position for a pass.

Don't forget the perfect break out pass by Kovy to Tallinder. This is how you utilize the cross ice passes Kovy attempts, Dmen jumping into the play.

edit: get out of my head basement cat.lol

Oh I agree with you there. I'm just saying he should be the trailer on the rush more often, because when he is, good things tend to happen. When he leads the rush, it's too often a turnover.

Agree 100%. Remove him from the point, don't let him skate the puck up the ice. Suddenly his turnovers and stupid plays drop significantly.

Kovy from the point is fine w me. The more he scores, theore options we have downlow because defenders will cheat towards him

From what I see, I believe Deboer is force-feeding Kovy into that Point position and basically telling him to either sink or swim.

He really wants Kovy there 24/7 for some inexplicable reason....

After the Habs games, we have games on back-to-back games against the Florida teams. Then we have two days off and back-to-back games against Dallas and Montreal.

They'll split the workload 50-50 next week.

Would the fact the refs missed an obvious penalty on that play make you rage more?

I like where the PP is heading though. At least instead of staying still and forcing passes to Kovy, they created the Elias-Parise-Clarkson quick passing play. I like how Kovy sometimes pinches up and Parise can go to him if the Clarkson play becomes repetitive.

Nothing to get Marty back on track like a game against the Habs.

Yeah I like the movement....FINALLY...on the PowerPlays now.

Remember in the past where they would all just stand around and do nothing?

If Kovy and Parise continue to put up points like they have been, are we still gonna want Kovy and Zach split up?
