I can't take credit for it, one of my friends found it on some blog. But I think that's the perfect image to end this controversy.

Me too.
Those Tampa whiners was the ones who complained and crying after Omarks beauty of a SO last year. And the same whiners crying for Ovie "warming" his hands over his hot stick after a goal against the Lightning.
They are taking themselves way too seriuoes. What`s the problem? This is a entertaining buisniess after al. Deal with it Tampa.

I'd rather them just do what Moore did and win the game.

Not sure if it was mentioned, but Anisimov said the first time he saw that celebration was when it was performed by then-teammate Ilya Gorokhov with Yaroslavl. Gorokhov was our 8th round pick in 1995, and we still technically retain his rights.

I thought Anisimov wasn't pointing the "rifle" at Garon... What quickly came to mind was he was acting like a sniper picking a corner, despite his goal being far from a snipe, and he was just using the net as a target - not Garon.

I loved the celebration. This **** is blown out of proportion.

That. Is. Awesome. Honestly, while I enjoyed the celebration at the time (in part because it was unassuming Artem that did it), it was a performance that would've pissed me off if an opposing player had done it to the Rangers - and I have to admit it was a bush league move.

But, the fact that it produced this amazing .gif makes it all worthwhile.

Bravo, sir, bravo.
